  1. Hi Thank you for that. However, making a sequence available to show on a Mac is not the point! The point is to create the sequence in the first place on a Mac, with a Mac Program, - without using 'Windows' at all - either through 'Parallels', 'VMWare' or 'Bootcamp' :rolleyes Cheers Geoffrey
  2. Hi Simply put; you should have a 'dedicated' Graphics Card on the lap top rather than 'integral', as part of the RAM, - basically this tends to be on better (more expensive!) specified machines! Cheers Geoffrey
  3. visage New Member Group:Members Posts:8 Joined:07-December 02 Location:UK Posted 17 January 2003 - 10:59 AM I have had a request for a Slideshow of wedding photo's from a client who has an I-mac which is running windows. (emulator?) Will a Pictures to Exe. presentation be compatible with his setup. Thanks Alan 0 Hey! A lot of developments in 9 Years! A MAC version of PTE is not one of them!?! Do we give up? - "It just ain't goin' to happen" Is PTE a skirmish battle in a war akin to the VHS vs Betamax conflict? The only winners are Lawyers, Accountants - oh and don't forget the poor Bankers! Or is it simply lack of interest or competence, is there a 'Microsoft' subsidy? Sod the users! (I was not such a cynic 9 years ago - :olol ) Kind regards Geoffrey
  4. Hi bb Ok! - points taken on your considered response. I will settle for 'Boot Camp'! Now: is there another thread regarding Boot Camp Vs 'Parallels' or 'Fusion'? Cheers Geoffrey ps I still love my MacBook
  5. Hi BB No No No! Just to be clear: It is not that Mac users wish to 'Run Windows' - Far from it - we wish to AVOID 'Windows'. What is requested is Mac versions of some useful software (e.g. WnSoft PTE) that is currently only available in the 'Windows 'format! Cheers Geoffrey
  6. Hello Ken Thank you for that - that link has worked! Not quite the desired answer for Mac users though! However, as a current alternative; how does Windows 7 perform with PTE - Is it worth 'Boot Camping' (that is installing 'Windows 7' on a separate part of a Mac Hard Drive)? And, as for a point of clarification and with my, albeit limited, understanding, a Mac version just could not be 'Part of PTE' - they are simply designed and written for different operating systems! (.exe files are 'Windows 'executable' (i.e. 'playable') files, and by definition MAC files are not .exe files?) It is just that a 'Mac' Version for File information and management would be good! But can we take as a positive that it WILL WORK (IF and )when it finally arrives? (But will 'Microsoft' actually allow this development?) Regards Geoffrey
  7. Hi Ken Thank you for the response. However, when I clicked the link I got the message: "can’t open the page “http://www.picturest...t=0” because the page’s address isn’t valid" Please can you help? Cheers Geoffrey
  8. Hi Igor Your opinion is very important for us. MAC Version? Need we say more? Cheers Geoffrey
  9. Hi Igor Any progress in 8 months? Are we wasting valuable time waiting? If you guys cannot cope at least just come clean and TELL US NOT TO EXPECT A MAC VERSION AT ALL! It is more limiting for cross platform display purposes but we can use 'Keynote' (that is the 'Presentation' software package that is in iWork). Geoffrey
  10. The influence of MICROSOFT (are they a paymaster?)
  11. Hi Ecuse me for appearing daft but are; "ipods, iphones, ipads, ithis and i that" not 'Hardware'?
