  1. I installed and latest slideshow ran automatically. In about window, I see 6.5.5 Same problem as before. Note that i have no problem (as with 654) with simple slide. Hang occurs especially with a slide made of one png image under a mask and one short text. RGDS Jean
  2. Igor, my tests results with 654: I got same results with 655.2 RGDS Jean
  3. Igor, I am not sure about tests I made! After special version installation, it starts automaticaly. But upon opening one slideshow, this special version disapears and is replaced by 654 I tried to desinstall, reboot, install again, I got only normal 654 for tests. RGDS Jean
  4. Hello Igor, results with player: Slideshows work ok except that the first 3 slides are very jerky as if PC was a very old one. results with special version: You have to wait a very long time before the first slide is diplayed. Secondly, same problem as before when you move one heavy (with 1 mask) slide in the timeline: the program freeze and display starts blinking! RGDS Jean

  6. Hello Igor I have to say that I experienced exactly the same bug yesterday for the very first time. PTE is 6.5.2 My computer is HP pavilion 9165 (quad processor)with 6Go of main storage. Graphic card is nvidia 8600GT System is windows7 premium 64bits with all updates automatically installed It seems to me that the bug occurs when the slide I am trying to move is an heavy one (with children and mask). Single jpeg slides have no problem. I noticed that system kept running for a long time with many disk access and many blank or black windows randomly displayed. I had to kill PTE application and lost all my late entries. I did another try: In fact, for some slides, PTE response time is very slow (let say 5 to 10 seconds) and if you continue to clic (to open O&A for exemple) PTE seems lost and does not recover. After moving a slide, PTE is very slow and I have to quit. My solution to circumvent this bug: I just unchecked "show real slide in mini player" (the both were checked) and everything is OK now. Jean
  7. Hello Dave and Cor The same for me. But after encoding to video(mp4), the second track is missing Jean
  8. Track2 is ignored in the mp4 video: I installed 6.5 beta6 and built a slideshow with 2 music tracks. Everything runs OK as long as you run PTE or exe file. After creating one mp4 file, I discovered that only track1 was on the mp4 file! No sound from track2! music project options are as follow: track1: duration 3:48.086 Offset 0.02.00 track2: Start time 0:02.000 Duration 1:15.086 Crossfading 0:02.000 Offset 3:48.000 Fadeout 0:09.000 mp4 built parameters bitrate 128 Samplerate 44100 channels auto I went back to audacity to mix the 2 tracks and got a good mp4 Jean
  9. Hello Goddi Yesterday, I experienced the same problem as you did: With my Vista system, I was not able to assign MPC homecinema to mp4 file. Instead, MPC (standard) was always selected! I did not understand why, finally, I discovered that the standard MPC was installed with K-Lite codec pack I solved the problem by replacing the application Program files/K-Lite Codec Pack/Media Player Classic/mplayerc.exe with the latest mplayerc.exe (homecinema v1.2.90) MPC and MPC homecinema use the same exe filename Jean
  10. Hello David, It seems that it's normal. Percentage is only applied on main images without pan, zoom ... So you have to adjust them individually Jean
  11. Pete is right: lately I experienced same problem with videobuilder in authoring dvd for one slideshow whith many cut transitions (0ms). the result was awful!!! I solved the problem (although zooms are not perfect) by encoding with Nero and best with my old ulead dvdmf4. Jean
  12. Unfortunately, I did not keep a defective .PTE file. After so many tries, it was such a mess in my computer that I deleted every corrupted file. Tks for your attention Jean
  13. It seems that project PTE file was corrupted. Everything was OK , worked perfect on PC but not with videobuilder! I came back to an ancient backup and reconstructed the slideshow. Video output is OK now. Error code 2909 stays mysterious! Jean
  14. Hello, I am using the latest 5.5 PTE version and Trying with 5.1 version , got the same error code Following is the screen display when trying to write a Video DVD start Converting to mpeg2 : file multiplexing converting menu to mpeg2 VOB files multiplexing (This may take several minutes) - (100%) Operation failed error code 2909 Deleting temporary files Finished System is Vista SP1 and I did not experienced any error when buiding previous DVD's Any hint on this error msg? Jean
  15. I use to put more than one slideshow per DVD. Before authoring the final DVD, I test each slideshow and I rename 0.mpg files May be I missed something but I cant add video files (0.mpg files for exemple) ! Only *.pte files are accepted. Is this fonction currently available? Presently, I overcome this pb by using Ulead Movie Factory which accept 0.mpg files.
