JudyKay Posted March 18, 2011 Report Share Posted March 18, 2011 In the OA window,when I copy and paste an object such as a Parent Object frame with Child Objects into a new slide which already contains a few objects, I often want to immediately use Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Shft + PgUP/PgDn) to move the object to a new layer. Trouble is I cannot move the object unless I use the mouse to click on another object and then return to the object I want to move. It's a silly little thing, but I bump into it over and over. This will select and highlight only the upper most object. Then perform your key functions.* The basic problem you are currently encountering is you are trying to sort the order of multiple objects after your copy & paste ... you must select a single object in the Object List to sort its order. It would save 1-2 extra mouse clicks and moving hands away from the keyboard. What you said makes sense and it works fine too.
