HardyJohn
Latest version pictures V10.0. 04 EXE file will not run properly after W10 update. Sound but no images! Just black screen. EXE files run ok on the PC that created the programme and file, but not on another PC, although this other pc still runs exe files created in V9 ok
Igor
Hi, What video card installed on that computer? I recommend to update drivers in Windows Update app, or manually.
HardyJohn
Thanks Igor - Good Question. It is in a Sony laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4000 fitted, (Portable to take to projector!) - a bit old I ran the V10 .pte file in the old V9 which worked (it was originally updated from 9 to V10 but not changed much) and it produced an ,exe file which works ok so problem solved for the moment. The Video driver was updated earlier in year. I have reverted to previous version of windows so now working again. Microsoft !!!!!! Thanks
Igor
Glad that you found a solution. Did you have Windows 10 old version, or Windows 7/8?
HardyJohn
Previous Windows 10 (old). The screen was stuck on black while sound was working o.k. My first slide was black and screen was black - It may just have stuck on that first screen. Anyway maybe a dodgy W10 update (takes hours). I am trying to run W10 update again to see if it cures problem , may not be PTE AV 10 at all. Will let you know if lucky!
Igor
If you decide update Windows 10 again, please check manually for available drivers in Windows Update centre. If the problem still occur, let me know. I'll send you a special test version of PTE.
