I once saw an app (Boxig I think) that allows you to open a .pte file and see details of timings, effects and images. Anyone know of such an app and where I can find it please?

Thanks

I agree with Gerard (sorry no e acute), SY(P) is an excellent piece of software and well worth trying.

Thanks Roger. Whilst I use the Character Map in word processing and DTP, I didn't have the character number readily available when writing my post. I have printed out the map from the site you quote for future reference. ééé

I have just tried one of my recent PTE's on SY(P) and the "Page rolling down from the top" is shown as "Unknown effect in PTE 4.20". But no tantrums.

Guido : :P

As for SY(P) update, Jean-Claude has given explanations in another thread; I quote :

The current version of Sy(P) is in accordance with PTE 4.30.

At the moment I work on a new version in order to make it compatible with PTE 4.40.

Igor recently (thanks to him) let me known the last specifications.

Next version will also include

- merging and splitting PTE projects

- modification of slideshow main parameters

- possibility of adding external remarks (different from comments) to each pictures

... and some others goodies

Sy(P) can be downloaded here.
