zepperwing Posted October 9, 2005 Report Share Posted October 9, 2005 Following the advice of posted in the user manual, I downloaded Ulead DVD Movie FActory. I am unsure how to burn using this. I put the show onto the desktop but can't open it form Ulead. I did all the conversions (such as changing to SVCD) but no luck. Suggestions? alrobin Posted October 9, 2005 Report Share Posted October 9, 2005 Did you leave PTE open after pressing the "video" button at the bottom of the main screen to create the temporary AVI or "PTEV" file? You have to remember where this AVI or PTEV file is located on your hard drive so you can look for it in Movie Factory, and import it in order to render it into video format for burning onto the DVD.You can probably find further help over on the "video" forum (the third PicturesToExe Forum). Barry Beckham Posted October 12, 2005 Report Share Posted October 12, 2005 This is an issue that you need to deal with Igor. If a panel comes on screen with finish in the bottom cormer 99% of people will click it without reading what is says.That panel needs to say. Don't close this panel or PTE untill your DVD has been written. Either that or you need another "Are you Sure?" panel popping up when the finish button is clicked.Practically everyone falls for this and then cannot find the avi.
