digartal Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 Captured throughout 2025, these images depict birds in their natural environments, shaped by the seasons, light, and their surroundings. Some frames celebrate the poetry of flight, where wings intersect with shifting light, while others rest in quiet observation. Together, they explore the artistic relationship between movement and illumination in the living landscape. Â Â 3 Quote
JRR Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Nice collection of bird images Dave I'd like to see your selected top bird images of 2025 produced in a slower format. (I'm not sure the music really worked with images. Might just be an issue with my watching it at 5am and my brain not fully functional) Jim 1 Quote
Bert Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Sorry, but I stopped it after 30sec. To fast paste for my taste to enjoy seeing the birds. Bert 1 Quote

If you like something slower have a look at my Flickr Gallery where you can review at your own pace. Not as up to date as this, but still a couple hundred photos.  Quote

I would spend more time culling to get to nder 5 minutes before other fell asleeo. I take thousands of images of birds each year - see the link below if you wish to review them at your own pace. I guess the amount of images is the problem, too many shots and too much time to decide what to include and what to leave out. The slideshow above was a selection of the images from 2025 only and I wanted to limit the show length. For me personally, I try to keep the show length to under 5 minutes, probably a carryover from my old slide AV days. Thanks again Mark Quote
jt49 Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 We hear two strong rhythms, the music and the clicks. Unfortunately, they don't match, which makes it difficult to listen to. A sequence perhaps for non-musicians and bad dancers. Sorry! 1 Quote

I tried the "shutter sound" only and without music but did not like this option. It remind me of the old slideshow of the slide cassette changing without music. I also tried different volumes for each track. I guess in the end, my approach of not letting good get in the way of perfect presided and I finalised this project. I appreciate that as an art form, not everybody likes the same thing and it is very subjective. For me, the end result was good, and hence I released it to the world. Thanks for commenting and I appreciate your POV. Ciao Mark Quote
