First Slideshow/Post

Hi All,

My first Post here and a link to Youtube where I uploaded a slideshow.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DbD1uoeUQZI

I have been reading some of the posts on loading HD versions of

slideshows onto Youtube.

Thought I would give it a go and suprised that it worked.

I didn't go for the 1600x1200,but one of the presets at a lower resolution.

The pans and zooms at the end section where a bit distracting,

but it is early days and in time with the Beta testers here,

someone will get it right.

I'm always suprised, that by deliberately not reading guides, instruction manuals,

or Forum tips how often I get it wrong!

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the kind offer.

I think I need to spend a bit more time using and learning the ins and outs of PTE first though.

Looking at some of the AV's here and on your site convince me of that.

Just one question though.I thought that the music for these AV's had to be Copyright/royalty free.

Are there exceptions?

I am sure I will take you up on the offer, once I am happier with the end product.

Regards,

Davy

Taking into account the guidelines stated on my site, and with particular emphasis towards non family oriented material, there are no further restrictions. With regard to music, some authors prefer to use music that is royalty free while other do not. Personally I view all presentations (on my site) as entertainment and not for profit. Ultimately you must be the judge of the images you select as well as the music you provide. If these two are within my stated guidelines, I will approve your presentation(s) and provide a link for others to download your work.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi Neil,

I had a look at the original exe file and it does look and sound better playing that way compared to

the Youtube version. At least I can sit back from the screen to see it. The sound especially inside Kings College

sounded distorted as well.

The extra conversions involved in viewing through Youtube degrade quality.

It has put me off trying Youtube again (especially with panning/zooms)until somebody comes up with a 'fix' for it.

Might never happen.

I will see if Bill can put it up on his site.

Thanks for your comments.

Davy
