  1. Hello Jim, you will hopefully have recieved my replies but thank you for listing here also ralph
  2. Hello Bert, I really like this show, my opinion matches that of Steven re the HDR. I also liked the silence as Antbrewer mentioned and Its something I will use in the future. There is something about photographing Decay/Abandonment, it really creates atmosphere and Ive enjoyed BB's shows also which cover this area. Hopefully the inspiration to photograph this subject will stay with me as Id love to give it a go one day soon, so thank you for that also. Great photo's Bert, thank you for posting as ever regards Ralph
  3. "I can give you some names of people on G+ who post VERY nice images from there." Hello Jim, Im also on google+ so please could you message me the names, id really love to see more thank you in advance regards ralph
  4. Hello Eric as I said "Anyway, great show I really enjoyed it and Ive just viewed it in class with several others and we all enjoyed it. regards ralph
  5. Hello Daniel, thank you for uploading the sequence, very much enjoyed and the artists work is amazing. regards ralph
  6. Another slick piece Eric. Well presented as ever, I like the way you are putting these shows together with PTE. You deserve more comments, but the way this forum has gone I'm not surprised with the lack of comments. Another silver screen icon in Ava Gardner, but if course Clark Gable was a massive heartthrob in his day and in my opinion and as Ive said before, the modern actors come nowhere near in talent in my humble opinion. The French sites seem to use techniques like this and I know as I'm a member that they get far more comments on sequences posted. Anyway, great show I really enjoyed it and Ive just viewed it in class with several others and we all enjoyed it. regards Ralph
  7. No problem with MSE whatsoever, my son had many problems with AVG and years ago I used Norton and that was awful
  8. Hi Jim. I read author's notes on beechbrook. Amazing collection of birds, taking note of what you have stated I really appreciated the excellent photography. Regards Ralph
  9. Hello Jim, hope you do mind but Im posting a link to your show as members seem to like a link regards Ralph http://www.beechbrook.com/pte/
  10. Eric, Brilliant, really love the entertainment value. Bogart was awesome in his day and would be up there today with the best of them if not above. You put this together with skill Eric and obviously time so well done. The still photographers of the day put us to shame, the black and white images are fantastic and if they had all our digital stuff they would be unbelievable I'm sure. Ingrid Bergman was so beautiful wasn't she? oh hoe Id loved to have been a photographer in those days, the female stars of today cant compete in my humble opinion. Just great Eric thank you Ralph
  11. Orizaba, Thank you for posting that information, most welcomed. regards ralph
  12. Hi Eric, I enjoyed your tongue in cheek sequence, maybe a link sent to the gentleman in question would be good to see what reaction you might get LOL. I loved that film and loved even more the film actresses of the day, the makeup and hairstyles were amazing and about four years ago I put together a slideshow of many of the 30's 40's and 50's "Screen goddesses" for the annual camera clubs public evening. I'm actually working on my own collection of portraits depicting those actresses, I'm lucky to have two ladies helping me out that when made up in the relevant styles, look stunning and amazing. Thanks again Eric that was fun and turned the clock back for me reminding me of those Sunday afternoon matinées on television, brilliant. regards Ralph
  13. Hello Umberto "I hope being able to post the entire show on internet, but first i must entirely rework the music track that is bringing to me a lot of distribution limitations" Ill look forward to seeing the whole show, I agree with Peter. Superb images and technique, well done for all your time and work in producing this. regards ralph
  14. Hi Eric, After reading the original post, I though how interesting it sounds and that I would like to attend. I read your reply and ventured to the Leeds av website and sadly could not get inspired because the information is mainly aimed at members and if you view the gallery it only gives links to 3 old shows, no photographs from members whatsoever. While on the Leeds site I did click on a link to a welsh site, the home of two AV judges who are giving the premier lecture this year, I found no material from them whatsoever, but the site had some fantastic photos from some of the members. Sadly the others are to far away for me but I have visited the respective sites and did find some good photography. After petrol and entrance it would cost over a hundred pounds and as I could not view anything from them that would encourage me to attend I cant ever envisage a reason for me to travel to the event.. Thank you for the information Eric regards Ralph
