The subject is Beamish Village Museum in County Durham [England]. Its a living museum with characters, shops, houses and is dedicated to the 1800's. I came back with over 200 images and want to do the show as a picturebook. I've done this short show as an example and would appreciate any feedback as to presentation,sizing,and is the picturebook a good format. The example is:6.25meg10 slides1:30secsThe problem is since there was nowhere my wheelchair could'nt go, I have a wealth of images and it would be very easy to get carried away. I think you need to use "Curling of Page - Rolling up from right" to get the proper effect. I would also start with a black slide and a couple of seconds of silence. This gives time for the audience to settle down before the first image appears.You certainly have some good images of Beamish. If all 200 are of a similar quality I can understand your concerns about getting carried away.Whatever length of sequence you end up with, I foresee one potential problem. All the transitions are going to be the same type in order to give the picture-book feel that you want to achieve. So I think that you will need to experiment with different durations of transitions and with different durations of the images as well, in order to inject some variation into the pace of the sequence. Any sequence that uses the same transition type at the same duration throughout the show runs a very real risk of coming across as boring in its predictability.One final thought on the music: I'm not sure that a piece with the feel of American country music is the best choice for this subject matter.Having said all of that, I have to agree with DaveG: you seem to be heading in the right general direction! Keep up the good work!regards,PeterHi Peter,I agree with you entirely. So I think a few masks with some slight zooming or panning is in order. I've been looking at examples all day, and hopefully have a few ideas. The images are almost straight out of the camera. A small tweak in levels and thats it. Great lens the Canon EOS 28-90 zoom.I'll definately look at the choice of music again. I dont want to go down the drain on that when everything else is coming together.Thank you for the help and advice, it's nice to know I can get that kind of support as and when I need it.Andrew. I'm now on v.3 My tipple of choice back in the day was McEwans Export [bottled]. Nowadays I'm forbidded 'cause the last thing you want to see is a drunked Scotsman in a power wheelchair.
