Bill
  2. Ok, I still have a problem when it comes to using the videobuilder. I can get all the way to designing my dvd menu screen, then I move to the screen where I type in my program name and choosing the dvd player and the speed. IfI click my mouse just one time to even select somewhere on the screen the cursor freezes up..I then at that time do a Cntrol, Alt, Delete,,,,then it shows two(2) videobuilder's, and it says "Not responding".... here is the error that I received....... C:\DOCUME~1\BILLMI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER5f83.dir00\VideoBuilder.exe.mdmp C:\DOCUME~1\BILLMI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER5f83.dir00\appcompat.txt szAppName : VideoBuilder.exe szAppVer : 1.1.0.0 szModName : hungapp szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000 can anyone give me an idea why? Thanks Bill
  3. NobeefStu,,,yeh, you're right...It did take it back down to around 270megs...Ok, just didnt realize that "time" or frames added that much meg size. Thanks for the info, quite informative...Bill
  4. Hi guys,,hey, My show is roughly 20 megs, now when I go to the videobuilder, and drag the show down to the video area and it nows says 276 megs...ok, thats ok...but, when I go to the timeline and choose "auto spread" along with sync it explodes the size of the show...to 658megs, and the show is only 13 minutes long. I have around 90 pics and most around 60 - 125 kb's...So, this doesnt sound right....why should the show gain in size this much by choosing the options in the Timeline? oh, I also have 4 mp3's for the music.......Ok, after doing some more research,,I can even now untick "auto spread" and it still says 658 megs...It seems that the size doesnt change.....So not sure what has happened..Never had this prob before....show is much too large to even think about burning to a DVD......Iv'e attempted to start over and make a new program, and it even shows a large file....thanks Bill
  5. Yes, me too...thanks Dom for the template. It is much appreciated...Yee Ha...bill
  6. Igor, I don't write many messages on the forum, but I do visit it almost everyday..Just to say Thank you for an excellent piece of software. What I admire most is not the software, but the way you bust your butt to put out the best. It is greatly appreciated by alot of people. So, I can only encourage you to carry on....Bill
  7. Mike, I really thank you for going to all the work to make a swf tutorial..wow....It really helps alot...."This should be added to the tutorials page...."..Bill
  8. Mike, thanks for assisting me.. I kinda got lost right after I copy and pasted pic30 on place to the right...Hmmmm....maybe you could offer a little bit more help here...I really do appreciate it...cause I think I'm on the verge of understanding this......Bill
  9. Iv'e got a question, I need to add some more pics to the album, above the 30 that came with the template,,,Explain to me how to enter the code in the objects space for additional pics...I'm curious how this was done...Its quite interesting to say the least...Thanks for any help you can give...Bill

  12. Even though I couldn't use the new version of Video Builder(10), and had to go back to Vers.9, I'm really excited to say that "PicToExe" works great. I burned a 15:22 show with 200 pics and mp3s. It took roughly 3 hours all together to complete the show on DVD. Anyway, this product is only getting better. If I had any problems (using ver 9)at all, it was always with my end of the deal. Thanks PTexe Team for a fantastic program....Bill
  13. Igor, thanks so much, works like a champ...Bill
  14. Thanks Lin, I can wait..not a problem.....can't wait to get my hands dirty.........Bill HooAh

  16. Howdy, I really like Doms count down template, could you advised me how it should be done. What all needs to be copy and pasted into my show. Too, bad there isnt an easy way to insert other templates into an existing show..Thanks, 'Bill
  17. Nick, I'm quite sure you will have to deal with some embarrasment, I think you think you are dealing with the normal type of software company that has the "I don't give a damn attitude about customer service" attitude, But, maybe youv'e been burned before like most of us, if you give this Team a little bit of time, I'll bet you'll fall head over heels for them. They are very Customer oriented, and that is worth an awful lot to me. I'll bet you already have the key by now. Enjoy the great slide show program and when you get good with it maybe share a show or 2. Bill
  18. Lin, this "Parent/Child" nomenclature kinda reminds me of when I was building an MS Access database. I believe I will grasps the concept. Thanks for help, and I am looking forward to your Tutorials. Bill
  19. Lin, Thanks alot, you explained it quite good. I was able to get it to work. BTW what is the purpose for the frames, is it similar to frames when using MSWord and setting up forms? Thanks, Bill
  20. I'm trying to utilize the panning feature by doing this. I've added 2 objects and each are png files. I go to the objects and animation screen and add these 2 files, one on top of the other, now I'm trying to get the object that is behind to pan upwards from behind the front object. I can not get the rear object to move independently of the front object. I have selected it before I do any adjustments. I believe I can move the front one though...Any help would be apreciated. Bill
  21. I like it, I believe I'll impliment it in my next show. BTW, Lin, what would you suggest to use to immulate flashes or strobes going off, for instance something you might see during a concert or sporting event. Thanks Bill
  22. Yeh, same here...Iv'e purchased both, even purchased the Newest ProShow gold for even more money...Iv'e always knew which one was the cleanest, smoothest and most direct at producing slide shows. But, I had to venture out and try others....But, because of Ver5 coming out, I need no more to search for the best program on the market.....But, I agree with Ken, go out and spend your money, that way you will know first hand what works for you.. Bill
  23. Well now, I believe that this is ONLY a beta version. If you expected a fully functional version, then you should not download this version. So, before you folks reply to the program, understand that it isn't in it's final state yet. I don't usually reply to statements on this forum, but some of you ticked me off. The founder of this program is working as hard as he can to get out a Fantastic program for a minimal amount of money. Some people are never satisfied.
  24. I first need to convert my file that Pictoexe made by using WinAVI converter, it does a fine job converting file into a mpeg file. Then I use TSUNAMI MPEG DVD PRO to make the dvd. After I import the file into Tsunami I receive the warning saying, THE NTSC DVD - video standard does not not accept MPEG-2 with a resolution of 720x528. What does this mean? Any direction would be nice. Bill
