  1. well would suggest you update to 3.8 as a lot of answers will pertain to 3.8 configuration - -we've come a long since 3.65 ken
  2. project options/comments/ set all comments as and check the box in addition while on the comments screen make additional settings font font size font colour etc if this doesnt satisfy your needs you will have to do it thru objects -- but see if this will get you going and if you need to use objects get back to the forum with your exact needs and somebody will step you thru the process ken
  3. see http://www.wnsoft.com/main.htm more info will tell you the limitations of the program as well as the readme, faq etc included in the program zip ken

  8. jrb when truelight posted http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...act=ST&f=2&t=84 I started a few sub headings for starters HARDWARE tell about new hardware FREE STUFF LINKS TO P2E MEMBER'S SITES but until Igor follows thru with his statement here http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...act=ST&f=2&t=31 we are going to be beating our wings i think there already 2 threads on problems getting a reg key for example where there should only be one there was a thread How Do I make a CD Auto-Run? How Do I make a CD Auto-Run? on dec 10, yet there is a fresh one dated today the 27th so i guess that is what i was trying to say in reply to your thread time will tell if we are gaining ken
  9. they are still there in capitals but nobody using them they would rather start new threads -- its easier ken
  10. Well are you going to share your mistake for everybody's benefit -- we have all made mistakes ken
  11. if you get one mp3 to play then take it out and put 2 back in and dont select random try it then put third in try it then select random try it you may have to reboot each time to clear the mp3's that get put in your temp file --this will verify you have "fresh" music in the temp each time while trying to sort things out in my case with xp home it is here C:\Documents and Settings\ken cox\Local Settings\Temp report your results ken
  12. but James why was Boxig in the show -- couldnt you get somebody to take your picture -- talent scouts are checking site all the time looking for new talent ) ken
  13. yes it will know you are a registered user yes you can install it over itself get 3.8 here http://www.wnsoft.com/main.htm as a precaution tho' -- store a copy of your reg key on a floppy and keep in a safe place ken
  14. do you have the play background music box checked project options music top left ken
  15. resolved problem of b/w picts on other tv's by plugging into the standard video output jack on dvd player to the standard video input on the tv. so when playing jpgs i will just use the regular tv video in/out to my distibution system -
  16. solved my cdrw prob -- to play a cdrw it must not be formatted -- and jpgs and or mp3's just dragged to an unformatted cd rw -- works fine today i purchased tv 27A42 see http://www.toshiba.ca/web/group.grp?lg=en§ion=2 at present have a cd-r disk in the sd-2815 dvd with 105 jpgs -- that were used to make my Automobile Calendar show -- these picts were saved at +- 640/480 at 80 % compression using Irfanview the dvd player is connected to the colourstream component connectors of the tv. the jpgs are being shown perfectly c/w the description of each slide -- i am viewing approx 15 ft from tv the only thing lacking is music and the resolution of the computer monitor. the dvd player has a resolution of 500 lines -- the tv 560 I will likely have to change some cabling to the other tv's in the room -- they are showing b/w pictures -- tis likely the colourstream component feature -- enough for the day ken
  17. see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...act=ST&f=2&t=88 if you keep below 200 jpegs it does the job -- granted it is not the same as a monitor display using p2e but it is a compromise if the bride and groom have dvd player ken
  18. The best to You and Yours from Me and Mine may the world find peace ken
  19. www.wnsoft.com link does not work properly on http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index....php?act=SC&c=2 -- it does not take one to http://www.wnsoft.com/main.htm which it should if Igor is getting primed to start ver 3.9 and also new people will be able to find the download spot of the current 3.8 ken
  20. Igor, when will start issuing 3.9 beta's ken
  21. Tell the rest of the forum -- it will the start of another category "HOW TO" ken
  22. see http://208.56.82.71/ Lin Evans Digital Photography Samples i would like to have a look at his keepers if these are any indication of his digital samples I think the other day he commented in the forum that he had 25 +- digital cameras. i see love and patience in every shot and i dont hear him worrying about encryption etc ken
  23. Some of you photographers seem to forget that an upset customer is one that will not recommend your services to other people. If you maintain a strict policy where you get 60% of your money up front no matter how big the package -- give them a set of 5x5 proofs in an album and then get the order for the rest. If you get a fairly decent order make up an album in p2e and give them 3-4 copies as good will.Don't give them the p2e to study beforehand. If they request more or they may want some changes in the layout of the p2e then charge them. The last thing you need is the cusomer wagging your tail if you cant see some finacial return. I am speaking from experience -- have married off 3 daughters -- 2 of them i arranged a fellow photographer to do the pictures - he supplied me with the proof album and the 2 1/4 negs - I printed the final - free to direct family - charged to in laws and their friends - the 3rd wedding was out of town and they hired the photographer -- they were lucky to have the money for the proofs -- they had no money for a whole bunch of 8x10's at $30 a pop. We were the only buyers of reprints If you are going to worry about somebody copying your work you are in the wrong business -- concentrate on doing quality work and building a reputation of giving value, you can't spare the time trying to protect your precious pictures. Artists would never put their brush to the palette if they were wondering if somebody was going to copy their masterpiece. I have seen so many beautiful pictures on the net - Han's Slau"s, Fretwell's, Ian's, Rob Wall's or Bussty's to name a few -- shots that other guys dream about - I look at them and say to myself "when i was there all it did was rain" or "why weren't those clouds that way when i took the picture" or i might say " if conditions are right and i go back i bet i can get the same results" now is the original photographer going to be ticked off when he sees my picture -- i doubt it ken
  24. we get many requests for a free graphics program many members use Irfanview - see http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/ always update your Irfanview plugins when you update the program
  25. if we had a category for free stuff and then sub topics -- the old one was 6+ pages and had no divisions/categories but till then members should shove it in this thread so for a test lets make an example i will repost and you can see what if i am making sense but there is no way to make a subtitle ken
