BTW, I also made a "Volume control slider" small window to display over the show but since it was made with the same tool as "PlaySound" I didn't distributed it. Hi Brian, Can you please be more clear, is there or not a trojan in the utility ? Your title "Granots' Play Sound Utility - Trojan" suggests this utility includes Trojan. I was just starting using "AutoIt" and I assume their compiler does not add anything malicious while compiling scripts. Thank you Granot

Window Custom Transparent Utility ============================ It is cute but useless (unless you find some use to it). Anyway, a friend needed to observe boring activity on screen for few hours. So I made this utility for him to be able to enjoy some pictures while staring at the screen. Here are the instructions as appears also in the "data.ini" file: Write the name of your show instead of: = My Show Write the transparency parameter insted of: = 180 (you can try other close numbers and see results) Put "WinCusTrans.exe" and "data.ini" (this file) in the same folder with your show. Run "WinCusTrans.exe" as external file from any slide you want to start transparency. Better not to use effects. Download here Granot

Include the video file, this utility and "autorun.inf" in the root of your CD. (use the supplied "autorun.inf" file). 2). Run a video from a presentation. Example: if you use "PicturesToExe" then run the utility by using "Run external application" command. Include the video file, this utility and your presentation in the root of your CD. (use your own "autorun.inf" file). These files may work but I didn't try all: AVI, QT, MOV, MPG, MPEG, M1V, ASX, ASF, WMV Cutomize appearance using "VideoSettings.ini" file: As a default, the video will be displayed on the center of screen in its original size. You can include "VideoSettings.ini" file where you customize the screen position and can add control buttons (including Full Screen option button). On First line: Width of your show if not full screen. If full screen write zero (0). On Second line: Height of your show if not full screen. If full screen write zero (0). On Third line: X position of video on screen. On Forth line: Y position of video on screen. On Fift line: write 1 for adding control buttons, write 0 for not adding control buttons. On Sixth line: write the R,G,B numbers (with commas)of Background color to be displayed under the control buttons. Sorry for delayed upload (it was old version till now). *helps to choose a background color for pictures or the best size of images to display. *color numbers are automatically copied to clipboard. *save colors and then reload them and scroll Previous/Next. *zoom in/out the image and the percentage of the orginal size will be displayed. *change image Opacity from 0 to 100. *hide/show all buttons of the program to leave only your image with the background. *hide the image and see full screen background color. *works with JPG and BMP files. Uploaded new version 3.0 of "TypeWriter" utility. Use "TyWrEdit.exe" to create your "configure.txt". Include "configure.txt" and "TypeWriter.exe" in same folder. This utility will open a window and disply plain or scrolling text. You can use it as a stand alone application or to run it from other applications like slideshows. You can select text file or get your clipboard content, select font type, size, color, effect and background color. The text can be display as plain text or type writer effect. To distribute this TypeWriter window, all you have to do is include only two files: "TypeWriter.exe" and "configure.txt" in same folder. Granot

Al I agree with you. We also have to remember that for many of us English is not a mother language and this fact together with different culture background can result in different interpretation of what other members write. It would have been better if deleted topic will delete only content and leave a "Content was deleted" so other users will know. Yes, this feature is new. Before you could delete content only. BTW, you are not the only "blind" here. After a week I was saved by Ron West who told me how to see all topics, which I didn't know. That's why we old guys don't like changes.

I uploaded new version of my "EasyRead" tool. It is not PTE related but you can use its features to create text images. Basically it is for people who have to read long texts and want to change the font style, size and color while reading. They can even change background color under the text, all to fit the eyes and have less headaches. Other features that can be useful: Make a screen shot, save or paste it. Copy to clipboard. Print the text with the new font selected. I don't know about colors because I have no color printer to test it If you try it please let me know about color printing. Download here Granot

Thank you Ron. Yes, I understand your point. This web site is mainly for digital photos. But I think speed is required because every customer wants to see his photos as soon as possibble. Sending a CD taked days. Even photographers like you can scan images and upload the big 320x240 good quality thumbnails for customer to see and select, in addition to sending the CD. Customer can see the CD first and then use the web site to send his order. One important point is that the order on-line allows customer to choose paper type and print size and the order you get is well arranged, each photo with its own specifications. Another point is that while waiting 2-4 days to get the CD, customer and his family can review the photos on-line and get a good idea for the photos they want to order. Then they can see the photos in full size on the CD and back to the web site to make the order. As you said, "This new program seems to rely on its ability to allow the photographer to upload images immediately so that customers can place orders within a few hours". For photographers who use digital this is the best tool and great service for the customer. Thank you for your comment Granot

Hi Fred, Thank you for checking this web site. I hope to read your comments in the forum. The web site is not mine but I helped a bit to build it. Images are uploading through the site and the GFTP utility (which had a bug and I have uploaded a new version) was made to simplify the uploading. Files can not be uploaded for now with any other FTP program since the webmaster keeps the FTP address secrete, since users will be able to enter easily to other members accounts. I will talk to him again about this and I'm almost sure this will be possible in the future. To remind all, anyone can open account and try this service free for 60 days. Granot
