Mark It is a stand alone program for photographers. It can be distributed on CD together with PTE show (or any other similar) or by itself with no connection to PTE. You include a folder of smaller size images which can carry watermark (you can put the word "Proof" or other using any graphic editor) or be in original size in low resolution, since the purpose is not to display photos but to make order. You can include B&W images, or even put very small images like 320x240. Customer can not save images but can PrintsScreen (I can disable this ability but I don't think is it needed). Customer can display the full size of the photo you supplied and display the photo in the print size he order. Granot

Beth Contact sheet can be good idea and it can be done but not on first version because, as Ron said, we really started from a very basic utility and can't finish it because we always have new ideas for new features to add. My question to you, do you think with order of 200 - 300 prints it is possible and useful to print all those thumbs ? On second thought, anyone has a phone near his computer or at least a wireless hand phone, so is this feature really necessary ? Granot

As for rest of the features here they are: • Display thumbnails of supplied images. • Select View from two thumbnails size. • Bigger view of selected picture. • Full screen option view of selected picture. • Select type of paper or specify one for each picture. • Select size of print or specify one for each picture. • Select number of prints for each picture. • Date is added to order. • List is saved on any change made. • List is sorted by names of files. • Customer can Save order list as simple txt file and view it any time. • Auto load previous order list. • Add/Remove pictures from order list or clear all list. • Number of Total prints ordered counter (auto updated). • View slide show of all pictures selected on the list from any point. • Customer can get and save a very detailed cost report of his order. • Any Tax % can be added to total cost. • B&W photos display option of supplied images. • Compare two images (for 800x600 screen and for 1024x768 screen). • See photo in selected print size. If you were satisfied till this version, then why not download previous version and use it to your satisfaction ? I have many programs on my HD and most of them are not most updated version since personally I don't like to change something that works good for me. It maybe also that something went wrong on installation so try to uninstall and install again. And last, when any program, not only PTE, works fine on hundreds or thousands of computeres but makes problems on a specific computer, it is usually something on that specific computer that is "wrong" or not updated, like old drivers, old sound card and so on. New versions are usually most updated and it happens that people who don't update their critical files meet such problems. Take it easy, I am sure some experts in this forum will find the cause of your problem and will help you fix it.

I have done a much better version of my utility. It is a window with your logo image (or any image) and customer can select slides while running the show. At the end, a ready-made email is generated with a nice letter to you (as you wrote it before) with list of all slides selected. If I will find time I will allow customer to write how many copies he likes from each. Ron is now testing this new utility and I am waiting for his last OK before releasing it. Granot

Here is what I usually do to avoid Multiple posts: When I finish writing I copy post to clipboard. Then I submit. It sometimes happens that I get error page but the post may be submited already. If I go back and click again I will have double post. So I close and reopen to check if my post was submited. If not, i have it on my clipboard to post again.

Ron, Sorry to hear that. I had same case few years ago when my computer got on fire. I lost all my photos I took during the years in many exotic countries, family pictures, and a lot of othes stuff. In my opinion the only sure and secure way is to burn a CD at least once a month, and every day upload all new stuff to a Pen Drive. I have a 512 MB Pen Drive and dozens of CDs. Since you burn once a month all your computer stuff, that means that you actually makig a backup of the backup and even if one CD will be lost, you will still have almost all your stuff on other CDs. Once in a year or so I arrange my CDs and throw those I don't need. Granot

Barry and Jill First check if the creator of the CD disabled the "PrintScreen" button on your keyboard. If it doesn't work, you can try my "RestorePTE" utility to be found on My Webpage. This utility was made for PTE users and it will try to create a new project for you, so if you don't have PTE installed it may give some error messages. If this doesn't work, I can try and make something for you. when is dead line ? Good luck Granot

goddi It is very simple utility, just put any show (not old show) in the utility program, run the utility and when small window open click for example on line number 5, then the utility will run your show from slide number 5 (actually from the end of slide 4 - I taled to Igor about it and he promised to fix it - hope he still remembers). In the ini file you write the names of slides. Granot

Maybe this can help a bit: JumpToSlide - Freeware Notice: Do not run this file from the show as external file because it will open a second instance of your show. But you can give this tool to your users whith instructions how to use it. Basically this tool will allow you to start your show from any slide you want. Read the "Readme" for details. Granot

Well this is really a bit different, my utility can not help in this case, but can help in recovering a not expired exe.

MuteSound - ZZMute - Freeware Volume control button on top-right corner of any screen. Put "ZZMute.exe" in same folder as your show (one show only). run "ZZMute.exe". If you burn a CD then tell "autorun.inf" to run "ZZMute.exe" and not your show. This is new version. I made only a few tests on it so check it to see it works to your satisfection before distributing on a CD. Igor, If I'm not wrong, in case we run show_2 from show_1 and we use as parameter Slide 5 we will see the effect of slide 5 (or 4 ?). Even without using effects there is a quick flash when entering a midle slide. So I thought, if we run show from any middle slide, not to show the effect that was supposed to be. Thank you Granot
