  1. And Arthur, don't forget that with Photoshop Elements 6 we have an affordable version of Photoshop with a lot of possiblities for users of PtoE to work with. Photoshop CS3 is a very expensive application and for 99% I can realise anything I need for PtoE with Elements... Henri.
  2. Nevertheless, Brian, Igor's plans to design a PtoE for the Mac platform still is very important. I don't hope that with the solid state story you are saying that we don't need this revolutionary version of Pictures to Exe.... Henri.
  3. Igor, as a Mac user since the Apple II (1979) and as a PC user because "all your neighbours have a PC", I'm sure you are your time (and the competition!) miles ahead by creating a P to E for both platforms. In my opinion this is a marvelous brainwave and many of us will be very grateful if you can realise this... After all, Mac OS10 Leopard is a fantastic system and the new iMac a beauty in design... gr. Henri.
  4. As far as I can see exe files can run on a iMac with a Intel processor. You don't need an emulation because you can start up with Apple's free Boot Camp program so the Mac will be a Windows machine. You even don't have to start up again by using the commercial program Parallels(aprox. 70 euro); in that case you can switch from Mac OS10 Tiger or the new Leopard to Windows XP or Vista without restarting the machine. And yes, of course you need the codecs for your exe files, as always (and the authorisation for your XP or Vista). gr. Henri.
  5. Hello Al, thank you very much. You say to create shows 1024x768 for camera club or competition purposes and to create your slideshows usually 1280x768 ; how do you manage this two settings? Simply by setting the monitor? I don't see any menu-items for this in P to E. thanks, Henri.
  6. I'm using an beamer with 1024/768 resolution. The pictures I make for PtoE are Jpegs with also a resolution of 1024/768. The files I use while projecting are exe files, as I suppose most of you will do. Can anyone tell me what will happen if I upgrade to a 1400 beamer, or for that matter, a 1900 HD beamer? Can I use the same exe files or do I have to make all new exe files? Or, is it only a matter for my Ati Radeon card. Thanks... Henri.
  7. I fully agree with Xahu34, because having two or more soundtracks with the possibility of fade in and fade out handles is really the only way to make a perfect sync slideshow. Nevertheless I feel deep respect fot the things realised till now! But I still hope the soundtrack thing will be there in a reasonable short time. Henri.
