  2. There has been a little interest in the Tatty Album, so I'd like to offer the template for your own use. You can download it here: http://www.trailertrashaudiovisual.com/tatty_album.zip Please feel free to alter it as you need to. Andrew

  5. Thanks Rick. I did enjoy doing that one...and learned a lot too. Andrew
  6. This is one I have wanted to do since I tried these album shows. Its a very dogeared and worn album with old water damaged pages. Perfect for what I had in mind. There is no keyboard control with this show as I want the viewer to follow me on a trip thro time. Many thanks to those who helped me with the shadow problem, I think it works just fine now. 20 meg 2m:50s Acknowledgement to Barry Beckham for the original template from which these are derived. Download from my site Andrew
  7. Loads to look at Gary. My favourite is the view of the church with the clouds behind, thats a belter. Andrew
  8. The rainbows are just beautiful. Well done on capturing them. Andrew
  9. Thanks guys, the object is indeed an iregular shaped object. Thats why I made it .png to preserve the luminosity around the edges. What I did was to create a shadow .png and use a rectangle container containing the shadow at the places I wanted it. Then just used opacity changes to get it to appear when I wanted it to. So all advice has been used and indeed has worked. See...you guys can fix anything... Andrew
  10. Thank you DG Peter and NBS, That works. I've never created a shadow or object in PS before so now I have a new skill. Many thanks Andrew
  11. You guys give me some work!!!! I'm gonna have to learn how to create a shadow now. Thanks guys.
  12. I have an item [a png file] which I want to travel across the screen slowly and as it comes to a halt, I want to fade in a drop shadow. I cant find a way to do this as the minute I tick the shadow box [even at the last keyframe [[KF2]]the shadow appears in the file at the start [KF1] Anyone know how to do this please? Andrew
  13. What a wonderful tribute. I know Lin will appreciate it as will his family and friends.
  14. Beautiful work Mick and stunning photography. The music is spot on for the era and mood. Thats a keeper for sure. Andrew
  15. This is fascinating place. Its full of wee side chapels and statues. The light floods in from every direction imaginable. Its outside is in need of major renovation work which is ongoing. Its free to visit and all they ask is a wee donation. 16. Good idea, but how would that effect the music?
  17. Mark, you must read at some speed. I timed that page at 60 secs to give the older members [me included] time to read it all. Maybe it is a bit to long tho. After that the sound track enters and runs fine. This is something I'm going to have to look seriously at. KB control and intro text pages. There seems to be a bit of a minefield here.
  18. That can be done Ken, but [without getting into the same debate] there's a sound effect that would be way out of place if the KB is used.
  19. Thanks Lennart. I so enjoyed the visit. I'm going back with an old comrade from my former regiment in October!!!
  20. Thanks Ken. I did enjoy that place. Andrew
  21. Thanks Mick, I actually meant to remove KB control. Its not needed. I allowed enough time to read the preface and then it was timed to each slide. Glad you enjoyed it. Andrew
  22. George, I downloaded and ran it myself a minute ago. No problems. I'll put a mediafire link up in a minute tho just to be sure. It occured to me that the link has nothing to do with it. I created this in WIN 7 64 bit. Could that have an effect?
  23. The sole purpose of my visit to France, was to visit the V1 and V2 launch sites. I got more than I expected. This is an amazing place. Eerie yet enjoyable. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. NB: Unfortunately my wheelchair wouldnt handle the terain, so it was crutches and legs. I apologise in advance for everything being at eye level. 42 slides 7 minutes 4 secs 1 sound track [created with Audacity] freeplaymusic.com All images are copyright to me. 24. France...my favourite place to visit. I just got back from Eperleques after a great visit there. I recognise the Omaha beach sculpture. Hope you had a good holiday. Andrew
  25. I also visited St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh's High Street. Lots to see and if you buy a ticket for photography [£2] lots to photograph. Very low light. ISO 1600 [i wish I had even 1 stop more...Santa are you listening?] 17 slides double sided. 3 mins:6 secs Nothing fancy just very relaxing I think. PC Version : http://www.mediafire.com/?1w7kbe5s8n8vhef Mac Version : http://www.mediafire.com/?xh2kd09hxmb6773 Stay safe and well for the next ten days guys. I'm leaving for France at 20:00hrs.
