Mark, this is very good for 2 reasons. 1] I spend some time up there as my Niece/Goddaughter lives there and her ex is the local environmental photographer Alan Campbell. He has a studio there and is widely known.
2] My brother [ her father ] used to live and work in Balmacara and I spent many happy days there also.
So this was a nice trip down memory lane for me.
Thank you.

Just superb Barry. You and Maureen are without doubt masters of the perfect exposure.

Trailertrash,
By visiting this address regularly:
https://nikoneurope-...sthelp.com/app/
......you can determine the reason for the upgrade before downloading the installer.
I would advise updating at every opportunity because there are bug fixes with every update, some of which are unlisted, and the software is being improved on each occasion.
There is a fix in this upgrade for a very annoying bug which some have been experiencing in the LCH utility.
There is also an upgrade for VNX2 which, if you are not aware, includes some nice changes/improvements to their Video Editor for Nikon Cameras.

Thanks Dave. I have the newest version of that one according tho the proggie this morning. I have to admit I have no idea what half of it does. Must be age or fear.

Hi TT
How long since you bought the software? I downloaded it via Nikon EU. I have just changed my browser recently to Mozilla Firefox & I am getting lots of different happenings, such as remembering passwords :unsure:/>/>/> :unsure:/>/>/>

Yachtsman1.
I cant actually remember but I think its newer than 2007.
Maybe they're just trying to annoy folks with an older version into buying a new one....

Just upgraded to 2.4.4 and it went without a hitch. No serial numbers required. Done it thro the help tab in Capture.
Don't know if that makes a difference.

Lin, the Indians were Mexican. Part of the Mexican Military band.
The Girls in the Kilts are the New Zealand [ 8 times ] and Current World Marching Drill Team Champions.

It's really strange - 7-zip returns this:
I've downloaded three times - twice from the original and once from Beechbrook...
Best regards,
Lin

Hi Andrew,
I've downloaded it twice, but both times I get errors and it won't open. I've tried PKZip, Windows Zip and a couple others... not sure what's happening...
Best regards,
Lin
I don't know if it makes any difference but its a .rar file. If anyone else has any issues its on beechbrook, so I know Bill will have verified the download/extraction.

This year marks our 40th anniversary and 10th visit to the Tattoo. We should have been spending this fortnight in Washington DC/New York, but Jane's heart problems have raised their ugly head again.
The tattoo was superb however [ as usual ] and this year I added some video. Its a 222meg download, so no small file. I hope you find it worth it.

Ray, that was a truly superb show. Excellent photography, perfect exposures. The music was great too. Now I may be a bit biased being a Scotsman, but I was captivated to that for the full length.
I loved the slow transitions and was so glad you didn't go for bells and whistles. A wee bit more info would have been nice either in your text above or on a credits slide...where, when etc. The misty cloud shots are gorgeous, as were the rays of light shots. Listening to a VO droning on would have ruined that. I simply drifted away into the landscape. This ones a keeper.

Maureen, as you know I usually reply via PM. However, it has to be said publically that this presentation makes everything I have done thus far look like it was done by a 5 year old.
Those exposures are perfect.
Any more?
Andrew

Andrew - I think I'm correct in saying 'thank you'.
Maureen

Brilliant Barry. Thats a keeper. I love the fast pace and the images within the larger images. I envy your imagination.

Your exposures never cease to amaze me Maureen. With all the different light values you get it spot on every time.
Excellent presentation as always.

This is a sequence created with some of the images our lads came back with from their recent tour in Helmand.
Full permission was granted for their use.
We were all glad to see them home safe and sound.
They will now take part in the draw down from Germany and re-role in the near future to light armoured vehicles.

Regards Eric
Yachtsman1
I downloaded the .exe.

Its a good idea Eric, but the video is almost unwatchable due to the pixelation.
-
Love it.

Here's a brief tutorial on how to stream video from your own web site using HTML5.
So far I have managed to get it all working, but for 1 issue. How do I code the .flv player to ' loop ' the video as it plays. I dont want it to stop.
Thanks
Andrew

Played fine for me. I'm very interested in how this is achieved. I have been playing with HTML 5 but so far havent been able to get it right.
Any advice/tutorial would be very welcome.
