  1. I too have had my Slide Show wings clipped severely since last December when I went to Mac only. (So glad I did except missing Wnsoft!)Since then I have been using Fotomagico Pro 3.5 and Keynote to provide a DVD presentation service for our clients and over all have been providing them with presentations they have been very satisfied with. ....but I still miss greatly Wnsoft with its layering and very high resolution capabilities so I wait with much anticipation on the full release of a Mac Version. I do have one very concerning question which hasn't been answered. Here is the question: Presently one can build a Mac presentation on a PC so will we be able to build PC presentations on our Macs? Concerning DVD quality I have found that using our Macs with Fotomagico/iDVD that this combination produces very good standard DVDs even though they have a lower resolution then an .exe file they still look very good on our HD TV compared to DVDs I made with Proshow Produce before going to Wnsoft. I still remember last year when I viewed the first Presentation built with Wnsoft and it was WOW! Thanks Bill
  2. Hello Colin, Thanks for making a Mac version too which I really enjoyed. I actually "almost" could smell the roses. Colin, one tiny sound observance problem. When the presentation ended the audio quit abruptly without any fading out. Such a beautiful presentation that I almost didn't think it worthy to mention. Thanks for remembering the Mac folks! Bill
  3. Hello Maureen, Please except my apology that I forgot we went through this before. Thanks anyway. Bill
  4. Hello Maureen, I would love to see your presentation but I am using a Mac. Could you post it here in a MacVersion? Thanks Bill
  5. Hello Peter, I just watched your beautiful presentation! I doubled clicked it and went straight to youtube and then chose and watched it in HD and full screen. The quality was quite good but not like one downloaded from Wnsoft which is understandable. My broadband here is quite fast and I watched it on my MacPro single Quad 2.93 and the new 24 inch Cinema monitor.
  6. Hello Lin! Greetings from Quarryville!! Excellent! Played smoothly and with great sound. I really appreciated the fact that you added a Mac version too. I am in great need for PTE for my business. Thanks Bill
  7. Hello Colin, Thanks for posting your Mac Version for us to see. It played perfectly, both Video and Audio. I really enjoyed watching your fine presentation and found it very interesting. Thanks Bill
  8. Hello Guillaume, The new beta version is still for PC only which can be used to build a Mac version on the PC but this still isn't a beta for a stand alone Mac. Bill
  9. Hello Bernard, An amazing piece of art! It ran perfectly on my MacPro, both video and audio. Thanks for sharing it as a Mac version too. Thanks Bill
  10. Hello Andrew! Thanks so much for adding the Mac Version too which player perfectly, both video and audio. Incredible photos! Great job. Thanks Bill
  11. Hello Barry, I just downloaded and watched "Exposure" (PTE 6.5 beta 5) Perfect! Audio and Video! Barry, I likewise want to commend you on your photographic/editing skills. This presentation viewed on my new MacPro and the new Cinema 24" is astounding. Razor sharp, contrast just amazing. The message-you are so correct about how seldom one can get a "perfect exposure" and in need of post editing. Barry, here in my office is PTE 6 on a disk and can't use it since I switched over to Mac (I am not interested in putting Windows on my Macs). Sure hope we soon here from Igor that they are getting close to a Mac stand-alone version of PTE. Thanks again Barry for your effort to make this presentation possible for us-the Mac users. Bill
  12. Hello Barry, I just downloaded "Exposure" again from the Beckham Digital website and there is no sound. Do you have the updated one posted somewhere else. I am running a MacPro 2009 model with 6GB RAM and a quad 2.93 CPU. Up till "Exposure" I have looked at almost all of your incredible Mac Executables and have had zero problems. Thanks Bill
  13. Hello Guillaume67, I am a fellow member here on this forum and can give a little information to you. I too now am a Mac user and can't use my PC version of PTE I purchased in the fall of last year. One can currently build "on a PC" a Mac executable presentation to run on Macs (not sure if Intel only) but Igor and his team are working on a stand-alone version for on a Mac and the word has been that they expect it to be available sometime this year. The beta version, which is available presently is for PCs only. I am anxiously awaiting too. Bill
  14. Hello MickP, I just saw that Igor today has posted that the Mac executables's reliability has been improved in another update! Thanks Bill
  15. Hello MickP, I have more information about this issue. I just re-downloaded "The Exposure Presentation" from Beckham Digital and now it too ends abruptly before finishing but then I downloaded an older presentation {The highlands} there and it plays and ends perfectly. Did you make your presentation with the new Beta version? I must write Barry at Beckham Digital this evening and report this to him too. If both of these were made with the later Beta version of PTE I have a suspicion there could be the problem. Sorry for the confusion but hopefully the issue will be resolved. Thanks again Bill
  16. Hello MickP, Thanks again for the info and I re-downloaded it again from your link and the last photo was the building with the moat and the wall going out to the left and the right and this time the sound faded out but saw no credits and then that same last photo froze my Mac (seldom happens) and I had to shut down and restart with the power button. No other command would take me back to the desktop. This is a new one for me playing PTE Mac/presentations. Sorry Bill
  17. Hello MickP, I just tried the replacement and it did the same, About 5 to 7 frames after the organ and piano there is one showing the moat and there the sound simply quits as well as the presentation and very abruptly with no fading out. So nice of you to make one though for we Mac users. Thanks Bill
  18. Hello Colin! Incredible! So often I dream I am flying like that but here you had the real experience. I really enjoyed your great presentation of a life wish and for your kindness to include it for we Mac users. Thanks Bill
  19. Hello Mickp. Thanks for posting the Mac version but there seems to be a problem where it ends abruptly 5 or 6 frames after the ones showing the piano first and then the organ. It is playing fine with the music and then it just quits and exits out of the program. Of all the Mac executables I have watched both here and at Beckham Digital this is the first I have seen this happen. I am running a 2009 MacPro quad 2.93 Thanks Bill
  20. A big "thanks" to Barry for finding the audio problems with his latest 2 additions at Beckham Digital! It appears going from mono to stereo took care of the problem! Thanks Bill
  21. I thought I would also add some thoughts to Lin's and Ed's discussion. I too was a Proshow Gold user and then upgraded to Proshow Producer and spent many, many hours particularly with Producer making presentations for my clients. From the animation standpoint it was amazing what one could do with this software but I was never completely satisfied with the output quality both as a stand alone file or DVD but my customers seemed to be satisfied. I would say that I had good support from them when an issue came up. It wasn't till last year though that I found out about Wnsoft through reading many reviews on the Web while searching for something with better image output. About the same time I found Wnsoft I replaced my Laptop (IBM) with a Mac Book Pro while searching for a laptop which could play my EOS 5D MARK II video files without studdering. My early experience with Wnsoft, shortly after purchasing it, was that I was astounded at the image quality. I also found that support here was so good and thanks to many and particularly you Lin in helping me with some early issues in not being able to make a HD file. Even though we never fully solved the problem I believe you were correct that the problem was specific with my PC but your help here was appreciated so much. I should mention that shortly after I got the MacBook Pro Wynsoft upgraded their software so one could build a Mac executable presentation for Mac on a PC. Still having my PC-desktop I then built executables to run on the MacBook Pro/HD TV which were razor sharp. After replacing my PC with a MacPro in December I then lost the ability to build presentations with such image quality. Then being entirely on Mac's system I build a memorial presentation with Mac's Keynote and actually the image quality was better than my experience with Proshow but it was not as good as Wnsoft's PTE and had it's limitations. Still without PTE I was asked a couple of weeks ago to build another memorial presentation for another client so I had to "hurry" and fine some software beyond Keynote so I purchased FotoMagico Pro. The image quality I found is quite good and the DVD I built was considerably better that all the DVDs I built with Proshow (image quality wise). Unfortunately FotoMagico doesn't have layering and masking capabilities so this presents a sizable handicap for what I want to accomplish. Thanks to Lin and others here I now see what is possible with layering and animation with Wnsoft which is incredible. To Ed I would say that I too want to be able to incorporate some video clips into the presentations for my cleints and particularly memorial presentations but I think this may be possible in my case having a Mac by exporting a HD file from Wnsoft, when it is available for Mac, into Mac's Final Cut Express which I don't have at this time but even more than having video clips I desire the pristine quality of images Wnsoft can produce. My final words:"Oh how anxious I am for a Mac stand-alone version of Wnsoft and maybe I am a pixel peeper but nothing I have seen or used so far has matched PTE in Image quality". note: I am fully aware that one can run Windows with the Mac OS on a Mac but that defeats some of advantages I now enjoy using a Mac. Greetings to all here at Wnsoft! Bill
  22. As a Mac user I previously mentioned here at Wnsoft I build DVD Memorials from time to time for some clients and we were asked to build one starting last week so I frantically had to find some software for our Mac since the included system's own slide show software is lacking. I purchased FotoMagico Pro which actually worked quite well and produced a DVD with quite good quality BUT, it has so many of Wnsoft's fine features missing and particularly working with layers and transparencies and also the audio time line in Wnsoft I really like. Oh well, at least temporarily I have something to use till till Igor's team has the Mac Version available.
  23. Hello Collin, Excellent! Thank you so much! It played perfectly, both Audio and Video!! The presentation shows a very powerful part of God's creation. My wife and I visited Mt Saint Helens after that eruption and couldn't believe the tremendous power released there. Until this eruption I never knew that lighting was released at that time of the event too. Thanks again Bill ,
  24. Hello Colin, Would you be able to post your presentation as a Mac version. thanks Bill
  25. Hello Andrew! Thanks for posting your excellent presentation on Detroit's Iron. You were kind enough to post a Mac version therefore allowing us to see it too. It played perfectly well, both the video and audio. Thanks Bill
