Xaver, DG and Yachtsman, thanks very much for your quick responses. It was the mask that did it for me. I have now managed to get the effect I was looking for which I will put into a slide show I will be starting soon. Attached is a very quick example of what I am trying to achieve and now with a bit of time and patience I'll be able to get there. Thanks again. I have been trying to place an image that zooms within a slide (after a short delay) and I would like to have it rotate while zooming but remaining within the landscape format frame. So far I have been unable to create this and wondered if it was possible. Rob
