  1. A nice gallery of night photography capturing the mood and atmosphere of that medieval town. Hubert
  2. Andrew, Davy and all other members/downloaders. Lots of water indeed. Earlier this week it started to rain again seriously and that combined with the rapid thaw last week (we also had some serious snowfall) gives again flooding but more particularly in the French speaking part of the country. Thanks for your comment. Special thank to Maureen (private mail) Hubert
  3. Dark atmosphere indeed. Compelling images, but nicely put together. Makes you think. Hubert
  4. Thanks guys for downloading and your comments. Rick, WW1 is almost a century ago and there is much more than mud to identify Flanders Fields. Just think about our beautiful cities Bruge and Ghent and a few others. Ever attended the famous bike race 'Tour of Flanders' ? Etc., etc ... But I understand what you mean. Gary, I'll keep your suggestions in mind, thanks.
  5. Due to the persistent rain in obtober 2010, Flanders suffered a lot from flooding. Especially the river Dender received a much greater volume of water it could handle at one time. The water overflowed the riverbanks into the floodplain. Once the rain stopped pouring and the water started to retreat, I went on a bike ride along the towpath and took some images. So this is a short impression (my first attempt with PTE). download here Slideshow characteristics: 4m09s; 45 slides; 29.7Mb; 1920x1275 Constructive criticism is always welcome Hubert
  6. Wow, what a beautiful natural environment. Nothing can compete with what nature has to offer in beauty. Amazingly good images, composed with a different approach into a beautiful slide show. Hubert
  7. Stunning images, great photography, creative post processing and lots of passion Hubert
  8. An incredible show at the end of a turbulent 2010. A long time already, a trip to the Lake District is on my wish list. Thanks for sharing; Hubert
  9. Dan, Yes, by holding down the shift-key. Regards
  10. Nice images. Transitions & duration were good some even very good. Did noone experienced some shimmering during zooming in ? I did.
  11. Great show. Nice images taken by a photographer with a trained eye. Pity indeed the "shimmering" during the slow animation.
  12. Lin, We may not understanding why sad things happen. My deepest sympathy is with you I'm sure you have beautiful memories for comfort, lots of friends for support. Hubert
  13. Ron, Here's the version with my own pictures and music (8.4 mb). My first try is already running smoothly I am an amateur photographer and the pics are from a trip we made in 2008 to the westcoast of Ireland. Along the westcoast of Ireland Creating a new template with other dimensions, covers etc. will take a bit more time to analyse the methode used. Best regards, Hubert
  14. Many thanks to everyone, especially to Ronnie for his excellent tutorial. I already had a quick look at the method used .. Hubert
  15. My apologies for the somewhat late response. Very busy you know ... Trailertrash " ... cover the original pages with your own images and save" My covers and other images aren't the same size and I wanted to try it from scratch. "...the pages are slightly out of register" You"re right, but that I was already aware of. And I will definitely consider your other suggestions Denwell "...pages turning over with a 'curl' to them" I also would be keen to find one. Ken "My Cwmbran Album" is very well done, with curls and shadows correctly implemented. But .. how is it done ? Your link to : "...use search for page curl = ......" Ronniebootwest " ...If it is what you think you can use, I will send you pdf tutorial, showing how to create your own album" can I still obtain this pdf-file ?
  16. Hello everyone, I'm a newby with little experience in the use of PTE. Trying to create my first album (based on the Tatty album) I encounter some problems in trying assigning an inner shadow in the middel of the album on every page. Probably it is easy to solve, but for me it's still a bit unclear. I would appreciate it if someone would be so kind to analyse it . Many thanks in advance.. Hubert http://www.mediafire.com/?3ftt26m3j6o34xb (do not pay attention to the text, it's written in Dutch (my mother tongue))
  17. I'm unable to download the zip-file. I've tried it for a few days but I get all the time the message beneath ..
  18. Yachtsman1, Yes, dragging them all at once is the purpose. But that's not my problem. My projects contains about 60 pictures. Now lets say that I would like to drag the last 10 pics (from pic 50 to pic 60) for about 3 sec in the timeline. As far as I know I select pic 50, then I press shift+end and the 10 last pics are selected. But at this time I am automatically positoned on the last picture in the timeline while I would like to stay on pic 50 without the need to scroll back to pic 50 with the slidebar. Hubert
  19. How can I when positioned on a certain slide, select all the slides behind without being moved at the posiiton of my last slide ? For let's say to move them all 5 sec to the right. Until now I use shift +end ... Thanks
