why Action on mouse click pause don't work in case of when Synchronize music and slides is off ? If it is possible please add it for two case . thanks for your effort Igor

Hi all, I've already send this request... I saw also mObjects has "3D rotation" (Wings Platinum too) Please Igor, consider insert a free rotation of 3 axis. I'm looking for... PTE is already the best AV creation software... this upgrade and the audio waveform visible in O&A window should be push PTE more more high. Fabrizio PS: I know that is possible to simulate a 3D rotation with a combination of 2D rotation, but it's an hard job with a result not so good (imho)

Is it possible to change the slide keeping all the timings, fades and actions etc. intact? My problem is this, I generate a show on one computer and want to copy the editable version on another to use for tutorials. Everything copies fine except the pictures and soundtrack, I get a path error as, obviously, the path to the picture won't be the same. It is easy to copy the file with all the slides in to selected directory window, but I cant find any way to alter the path to the picture file. Can this be done or am I wasting my time? It would be an easy addition to make methinks. Most slide show software has a change slide option in the right click menu. Chris

Hi, When we use the action on mouse click "Go to slide number 25" (while we see slide 7, say), it happens that slide 24 is to be seen, and immediately the transition to slide 25 is shown (provided there is a transition at all). I do not like this behavior that much, and I would like to propose the following option: On mouse click the corresponding slide (slide 7) freezes (animation stops), and the frozen image is taken instead of slide 24 during the transition to slide 25. Version 5.6.1 fixed the problem with mouse cursor, so that it now changes form over an active object. This does not include "buttons". I can understand the reasoning of why this may be the case. Though I believe that a Menu created, in which the mouse cursor changes to a finger, to indicate an active button, would be more attractive and intuitive. A good example is the WnSoft Forum page, on which the arrow cursor changes to the pointing finger, when over an active button. If this suggestion does suit everyone or every situation, then perhaps it could be offered as an option.

In objects&Animation , button of 'Invert Selection' is neccessary. Also In corner top right in object&Animation , beside the back button and forward button , Home page (first slide) button is necessary. !

In Navigation bar please Add this Items : Tools in the name "SaveMusic" for saving background music of SlideShow.

Creat Customize Right Click for user instead of Useing Navigation bar in SlideShow, for Enable or Disable Navigation bar. and define cutomize options by users. Display Customize Name of Items in Navigation bar to Native language users , when The pointer of the Mouse go on it. Also Please creat a case in customize Navigation bar , that be define all item of in it to user's native languages .

Igor, PTE is an excellent product, and there many users in the forum who like to help newcomers. But reading the posts of jeffandtammymac from today (see here), I have to shake my head and ask myself the question: Isn't it possible to organize the registration process in a user friendly way? It is good to have Peter's FAQ on this subject. But the numerous posts clearly show that it would be much better if this FAQ would not need to exist! Best regards, Xaver

Suggest recognizing .gif as a valid format for masks.... Right now only jpg and png are automatically detected. Sometimes a GIF file can be advantageous because with masks color is not needed - just B&W and even though one may "detect" no color in a PNG visually, there may still be a good deal of RAM tied up with color unless the file is desaturated. Gif files only having 256 color possibilities are almost always smaller and "sometimes" make a great mask. I think the majority of JPD's recent masks are gif files... Best regards, Lin

Igor, This suggestion is a follow-on to the PTE v5.6.1 discussion thread in which the following post appears: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=62521 Why not add to PTE an "Organizer" function similar in concept to the Photoshop Elements Organizer? If this database stored the Full Path Filename of each .pte, .ptv and .exe file together with their "Created date" and/or "Last Updated" date, it would provide you with the data you would need to provide an "auto-create" tool for launch menu sequences. It would also provide an additional tool to help us users keep track of all the variants of sequences that we produce for many and varied reasons. regards, Peter

What about a feature that processes all the images used in a slideshow optimizing them by the size defined in the screen settings (if present)? This function should examine all the panning/rotation/zoom applied to each image and calculate the optimum size for that image. I think that this would be really useful, especially when size matters. When the repeat music track button is ticked in the projects/music tab. The music track will replay, but the waveform of the repeat is not displayed on the timeline. A simple work around is to add a second instance of the track in the music tab. If it is the programmers intention not to display the waveform then the work round will suffice, otherwise it needs a fix.

If improvements in the audio handling capability of PTE were to be made, it seems to me that it will be necessary to be able to tailor the appearance of the PTE window with even greater flexibility than is currently possible. One such change could be to allow the Mini-Player to be "undocked" - and floated as an independent window. While in its "floated" state it would then be possible to re-size the Mini-Player window independently of the rest of the PTE main window. If the File Panel could also be Hidden/Unhidden then it would be possible to have complete control over what appeared in the PTE window. It could, if the user so desired, be devoted entirely to audio-tracks and the Slide List, with a floating Mini-Player. I stress that I would see these as options with nothing being forced upon anybody; just like the display of the Folder Tree can be switched on or off at present. regards, Peter -
When making presentation I miss the possibility to insert a blank slide (with editable color). This slide I usually use as a background to the text in the begining and end of the slideshow.

I realize it is a question of what one is used to, but in ver 5 the file pane does not provide for a listing of the file names. There are certainly advantages in having the thumbnail view, and I use it. But once the files are selected I find the thumbnail view very distracting, especially with the problem re Auto Scroll 2 (see Auto scroll 2 oddity It would be nice if ver 5 had the option that was available in ver 4 and before. See screen shot below I suspect there would not be a high demand for this, but if it is an easy fix, maybe it could be put back in as an option thanks
