gh6539
I have been working on a 3D Oriental Jewel Box in 3D as a Valentine for my wife and two versions have been created.A Poll has been created and I would appreciate your vote. Version 1 or Version 2.A note on the Japanese Characters and how they were made. The first problem to overcome was to translate English to JapaneseFortunately Google handled this very well: http://translate.google.com/#en|ja|1. Copied the Japanese character and pasted into Microsoft Word 2007 Wordart2. To save the Wordart to image3. Save Doc as a web page. Wordart is converted to a image in the folder you named the document.4. This is a PNG image and is transparent.Version 1 DownloadVersion 2 DownloadSize of both 3.23 MBLength 1Min 13 SecAspect Ratio 16:9Regards,George
ContaxMan
For me, it has to be the first version. I find the smooth, gentle motion more pleasing on the eye. By the way, on my machine the second version has a "glitch" at the start - the box jerks downwards.Roger.

Boogie
GeorgeVersion 1 for me. Nice effect.I quite expected the "box" to start revolving in 3D with some more pictures! Perhaps version 3!!!Suggest you disable the cursor during show. - Project Options/Advanced/ "Hide mouse cursor during show"CheersBoogie
gh6539
Boogie,Thanks for your input. I forgot about the cursor.George
David Porter
Hi George,My vote goes to number one although I think I would have preferred number two if the top lid kept a smooth run to the top before angling forward. Wasn't this how you had it?
Ken Cox
IMHO #1 is smooth#2 movements too rapid but has better featuresnever even noticed cursor, but then i always have it enabled c/w manual control - but that is just a habit/carryover from my beginnings in ver 3.4kenken
gh6539
Mick,You are correct, that was the way I had Version 2.
