  1. Thanks to all above for the suggestions and help. I have spent the last couple of days trying to sort out the problem with my HP laptop including a total of 3 hours on the phone to HP support team. The HP team have been excellent and put my laptop through many tests and reloads of various graphics drivers. The final result is, I have reverted back to Windows 7 ( quite easily!! )!! Despite the initial test that indicated I had drivers to suit W10, there seems to be some graphics drivers that have yet to be upgraded for W10. I will wait for a couple of months before I try again to install W10.At least I do not have jittery sequences now!!!
  2. Thanks Gary. It is the image portion of the sequence that is jittery, there are no video portions. I am digging deeper and there is some strange contradictions in the new system. After running an auto check on the graphic drivers which reported the correct drivers were installed, I checked Device Manager which states that I have two graphics cards in my laptop, one has no driver and the other comes up with a Code 43 error. I am sending a report to AMD to see if they can solve it.
  3. I have just downloaded Windows 10 and installed it to replace my W7 system. My graphics drivers checked as being up to date with W10 All my sequences would run nice and smoothly on W7, but now trying them on W10 a few of the newer sequences with some animation are jittery. Has anybody else experienced a slowdown in performance with W10? Are there any suggestions to overcome the problem?
  4. DG You are a Star!!! I had altered the first KP and not separated the sections. Many thanks!!
  5. When there are more than two keypoints relating to a child, one can alter pan, zoom and rotate parameters at only the first and last keypoints - at any intermediate keypoint, one can only alter the pan and zoom parameters - the pan parameter is greyed out. There may be a logical reason for this that I do not see? Is there a workaround that will allow the pan parameter to be altered at a child's intermediate keypoint?
  6. BB, you say:- ...............then find the command for it in the Project Options > Audio Tab. It's a small tick box, easily missed, but when selected the music is automatically trimmed back to just the 20 seconds you used........................... Where is the small tick box you mention? In v8.03, Project options/Audio tab, of the 3 tick boxes I see, none say anything about automatic trimming. If it is there, I certainly missed it!!!
  7. In the dim and distant past when I dabbled with computer programming, I recall the number 512 (and 256) was related to bits and bytes. Perhaps that is where the default 512 number came from. R
  8. Have a look at Zoom H1. I have one and found it very good. In your price range to.
  9. Many congratulations to all who have contributed. I have just started reading and am very impressed with the detail and format. Is this the place for suggested corrections? If so, under Main Menu... The “Main Menu” is located at the top righthand side of Pictures To Exe main screen. Should this be lefthand side? Boogie
  10. DG is right, but don't forget to have the SLIDE tab view, not the TIMELINE view
  11. I am upgrading from v7.5 to v8. Previous versions are installed on 2 computers (Desktop and Laptop). Do the T & C's still allow for v8 to be on more than 1 computer and if so , are there any suggestions for installing v8 on additional computers with the new reg. key procedure? Boogie
  12. Very good. Loved the way you chose cards to illustrate the words. Great swaying kids!! Made me feel Christmassy!! Regards B
  13. Very imaginative!! Really shows the power of PTE Well done
  14. Thanks. I have finally got the download to work. For the benefit of others, the setup ran from the first exe file .....WWEFGJIS.exe. The 2 loopolgy files, I think are data files with 100's of sample loops, etc, (was on CD or DVD), hence the reference in the download titles and not necessary to download and install the program.
  15. I have downloaded the 3 files listed under Audition, one of which is a 4.24GB ...7zip file and can't install it from any of the 3 files. If you have managed to install it, can you give me some guidance please. Roger
