Blur in 2-dimension fragmentation [SOLVED]

Hi all,

Curious behavior in "Image Border".

Expected animation:

1- start with a picture (face2_3x2.png),

2- fragment it into r rows and c columns,

3- contract the picture

4- dissolve with the next picture (face5_3x2.png)

5- come back to the initial size

I did the framentation using "Canvas Size" from "Adjust Image and Border".

It's OK with 1-dimension fragmentation (horizontal or vertical slices).

It's OK with a 2x2 fragmentation.

The things go wrong with other 2-dimension fragmentations: the picture is blurred.

Included in the zip are:

- my pte project,

- the 2 pictures,

- a PC executable

- a MAC executable (not tested!)

The show consists of 4 slides:

1 - 2 rows and 2 columns -> OK

2 - 1 row and 64 columns -> OK

3 - 64 rows and 1 column -> OK

4 - 8 rows and 8 columns -> Ugly :angry:

In slides 2, 3 and 4 I have the same number of fragments; the behavior is different.

Questions:

1 - Has someone encountered this issue?

2 - Can you explain the observed behavior?

3 - Is there a way to avoid the blur (of course, I wish to avoid making n*r sub-images, or using masks).

Remark 1: I tried with jpg instead of png: same observations.

Remark 2: Strange point: It seems that 2-dimension fragmentations in custom transition are not blurred.

Different algorithm? Bug? Only WNSoft can answer.

Remark 3: If you have a look at my pte, it is an automatic generation. So the animation is strictly structured and a direct hand-coding might lead to lighter code.

Any remark or suggestion is welcome

Charles
