Master & Linked Videos Can Not be Copied - In PTE11 also

I am currently working on a project, (started in V11.0.20) that needs to be completed in the next couple of days.

Within the Project I have 5 Slides, the first has a Video set as Master Video, the other 4 have the same video as Linked.

The Video is muted and a separate soundtrack is added linked to the first Slide.

It all went wrong last night & so far I can't get it to work.

So I tried setting it up in a new Project.
When I set this up in a new project it all works fine.

But when I copy these 5 Slides to my main Project the Video is no longer Master & Linked.
Trying to reset the Video on the first Slide no longer works, I click Master Video but it does nothing.

I have tried Deleting the previously Linked Video from Slides 2 to 5, but I still cannot set the Video to Master on Slide 1.
It is though something has broken and can't be reset.

In fact I now cannot even Paste into V12, the Paste option is there on right click but nothing happens. 

I have tried the same thing in PTE11.0.20 & it doesn't work there.
I have tried copying from PTE 11 to PTE 12 & it still won't work.
Once the Master - Linked Video is broken it cannot be reset.

I will have another try later today to see if I can repair my master Project, and try to get a clear set of steps. 

Any suggestions please - Igor I can send you Slides if needed.

Hi Jill,

Thanks for your message! I confirm the issue with Master/linked video objects. In V12 it is NOT possible to copy and paste a slide which contains a Master video / Linked video object.

If I start a new project in V11, create a series of slides with Master/video objects, these slides are being copied/pasted correctly.

Please wait when we fix this problem for V12. I'll try to do it quickly.

Thanks Igor, I can only do it once in PTE11 to a new Project, then it no longer works.

Hopefully I can manage a work around as trying to complete my AV for Friday & still have a lot to do!!

It started when I opened the Project in PTE12 to use the new Audio Objects in O&A.
I added the Audio Object (Click4) to the Slide before the Master Video one.

Not sure exactly what I did next as I was copying & pasting Objects from other Slides to get the effect I wanted behind the video.

But it suddenly stopped working correctly.

I saved it as a new file name & tried opening that in PTE11, but it still didn't work.

I didn't get any warning message that I was opening in an older version of PTE which normally happens.
The Audio Object still showed in the list of Objects but there was no sound in PTE11 (as expected)
