Thanks Jill for the help! I was using Dissolving with Blur and I was having trouble with the text disappearing in this transition. I tried just Dissolve and it actually worked as expected. Thank you so much!

Thanks Alex, would be quite difficult to do with my camera. My camera is converted to capture handheld infrared images only and not visible light images. You could use a normal camera with an IR filter (exposure 6 times longer, so a tripod is required) or two identical cameras (one converted to IR) and lenses but alignment is an issue. Generally an IR image is not a visibe light image as they use different lighting and contrast. These shots would have been very green with all the plants and far less contrast/tonal range. The other option is to false colour the IR image using AI in PS but often not realistic - see below. Also, Masks in PTE are a bit beyond my knowledge and skills at this point. What type of Transitions are you using? If you just use a Dissolve, Page or Shape Transition then it shouldn't have any effect on the Text. I often carry my Title across 2 Slides but I always use the Transitions mentioned above. I find all of the others are too gimmicky & distract from the images & story. It depends what you are trying to achieve? Jill

Easy, just copy & Paste the Text in O&A onto all the Slides you need. Jill

I had a hard time figuring this out, so I'll ask. Is it possible to have the same text appear on multiple slides (not all!) without affecting the transition effect? The main thing for me is to do it for a group of slides.

Hi Enid, I have just updated to 11.0.18 now & the magnifying glass is still there. Nothing has changed, so not sure why you are having problems. Try uninstalling & re-install again. Are you Windows or Mac? Jill

Hi Jill, I think the displacement map has stopped working...I updated this am from .17 to .18. It was working this am before I did the update, and when I go to the displacement map now I get a list of the things on my desktop. likely this is just a setting somewhere, but I am not sure where to look.

In O&A Select Add Masks, Tick the Displacment Map & select Lens from the drop down Jill

Roger, I've sent you a personal message through the forum messenger, please read it. If possible, send me a screen recording. In V11 we use newer version of DirectX 3D rendering. I don't remember similar issue with video flickering. The most likely updating of Intel graphics drivers will cure this problem.

Thanks Igor for taking a personal interest in my problem. What I don’t understand is that, with this PTE session file containing videos, clips runs without problems when using V10.5. The problem only occurs with V11. The situation has changed and flickering only occurs on the mini player. The videos are typically 1440x1080 HD codec H.264 about 68M size. I have restarted my PC. Graphics Card - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770. I have checked the graphic card driver is up to date. Flickering also occurs on the pelican section on your sample video using mini player. Now that it is just the mini player I can ignore it. Thanks again. Roger.

Hi Roger, If I understood rightly, you observe this problem only in a full screen Preview and in the Mini Player (in the main window). Right? Try to restart Windows to check if it helps to solve this issue. 1. Please can you describe in more details - what exactly you see? Is it skipping frames during video clip playback (choppy playback)? Or some flickering on the monitor? 2. Do you add video clips at HD 1080p quality, or 4K UltraHD? 3. Try to open the Sample Project, included with PTE AV Studio. Browse the Main menu > Help > Open Sample Project. 3rd slide contains a video clip with a slow motion (a pelican bird). Do you see the same issue on this slide in this project? 4. Tell me about a configuration of your PC (graphics card). If this problem persists, I recommend to manually update drivers for your graphics card (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel). P.S. I don't know if it could be the same problem, but the same thing happened to me too and it seems to have been solved by touching the NVIDIA control panel settings with these adjustments, I don't know what graphics card you use, but in case it's the same problem, the flickering was only in preview when creating the .mp4 file it disappeared

Please explain why I have no problem using V10.5 but I do using V11. Incidentally I have re installed V11. Roger

What is your Graphics card? How much VRam Does it have dual Graphics ie also an intel chip. If so then make sure PTE is using the main Graphics Card What is your Monitor Resolution What Resolution & Frame Rate is the video I have never had flickering, only some occasional stuttering when using a very large 1.5 GB video that I was taking 5 secs clips from. But if everything is ok in the final MP4 then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Maybe if you are only using a small portion of the video then try Converting/Triming it first Jill

Jill, Running on new Dell desktop. Win 11 version. Graphics Card - Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770. Video files typically 60M. Using PTE 11.0.18. No other applications running in background. Roger.

The latest version is 11.0.18 Are you running on desktop or laptop. If laptop make sure you are plugged in, not battery. Are you Mac or Windows. How large is the video file. Jill

I have a PTE session file, created in V11, that contains video clips. If I use it on PTE version 10.5 it runs fine. If I use the same session file on my 11.0.18 build 3 version the videos flicker. I have compared all the setting on both versions and see no difference. If I publish it as a mp4 file in V11, the flickering disappears. Any suggestions how to resolve please.

Works just like a still image and is very easy to use to adjust the time of transition and video/image, add other images/video, image in image etc. Have a go and share it here. Cheers Mark
