    WnSoft announces PicturesToExe Deluxe 6.0

    What's new in version 6.0:

    + A new option to Shadow properties window - "Shadow for 3D mode" is added.

    Hi,

    V6 is available for a long time but I still don't understand the use of this option.

    Does anyone know what is the purpose of this option 3D mode (or already used it ?), compared to the "standard" shadow option ?

    I guess the Wnsoft team is very busy with V8 right now but I think this feature would be very useful.

    So may be in next version ?

    Also I would like to add an other suggestions to the "shadow" subject.

    It would be very convenient to have the ability to apply a shadow to a group of son objects by just clicking the option to the father object.

    And it would give the possibility to apply the shadow in a uniform way. Because right now, if you apply shadow to several objects that overlap, it can be a problem because the different shadows will "add" : the result will be a totally black shadow on the overlapping zones and it's often not what you want.

    my feelings are

    ALL NEW AUDIO questions will go to the new section -- old questions should stay where they are as some people may have built up a collection of links to audio related threads

    Also - when a question is asked, the originator must say what version they are referring to

    Same feeling here ! ;-)

    Most of the animations are enhancements of what I have already done in the past, but I tried to improve the effects, shadows, depth and reflections.

    To watch the video in HD, click on the "Youtube" logo at the bottom of the video, then click on the "parameter" icon and choose "1080P".

    And finally click on the "full screen" icon.

    Hi,

    Actually, you can use a trick to apply a mask to a whole project using the "show copyright logo" feature.

    Follow these three simple steps.

    1 - Go to "Project Options" | "Control" tab | "Show Copyright logo" ticked | Click on "Customize logo..."

    2 - Then choose the mask you want to apply by clicking on the little folder icon and locate the file on your hard drive.

    3 - Finally, set the following parameters :

    - size : 100

    - offset : 0

    You can choose an other opacity for your icon (=mask).

    Please find project attached as an example :-)

    Very good job Mark !

    In my opinion, some of your pictures are a little bit too oversaturated for my taste.

    But they are very nice anyway.

    I purchase HDR Pro. It's a very nice easy to use transportable solution to make HDR Pictures.

    There is a lot of work on the 3D shapes, the shadows, the dynamic reflections and the lens flare effects to make it "realistic".

    Hi Dom,

    Your ability to take the viewer into a 3D world is amazing. I like the pop up photos. I guess it would also work for video? Did you see Igor's blur demo he posted a few weeks ago? I know you have been waiting for blur a long time. I do not think blur will work with video due to cpu demands but it will still be a nice addition to PTE.Thanks,Tom

    It's very difficult to make a template for video because it depends on its length. But I guess it's possible.

    About blur feature, Igor was kind enough to let me know a few weeks ago by sendinf me a mail.

    You're right, this is THE fetaure I was waiting for a long time !

    I think it will open new artistic ideas and a lot of fun.

    Actually, I uploaded the video on YouTube in HD.

    To see it in HD :

    - On the video in my original post, click on the YouTube icon.

    It will open a new window and the video will start automacally.

    - Click on the "change quality" icon and choose 1080p

    - Then click on the "full size" icon.

    Here is an other demo. I started to work on it a long time ago and never finished it.

    It's still work in progress. The main part is ended but I will add an opening and a closing sequence of the book.

    Pictures are mine but it's a mix of photograpy taken in Britain and in Australia.

    The project will work perfectly with landscape and portrait pictures mixed.

    Hello all,

    I didn't used PTE for more than a year.

    Here is a new work inspired by an app I saw on a smartphone.

    The pictures used are mainly wallpaper included with my copy of windows 7.

    I made an intensive use of masks to be able to use this project as a template whatever the format of the pictures.

    That's why it might be jerky on older pc.
