  4. Auto resize Pictures

    When the user chooses to create an exe, there would be an option to automatically resize the pictures depending on the resolution width he chooses (1024 px, 1280 px, 1600 px, HD, etc...).

    Of course, if the user doesn't choose the option, the pictures are kept as they are.

    What do you think of this idea ?

    Tom, you remember correctly, I feel like the most difficult part is after km 35.

    It's like you have run only half of the race. The "real" race starts here.

    Most of the withdrawals are after this distance. Or people (try to) finish the race by walking (instead of running).

    By the way, do you know if an enveloppe tool for the sound of an inserted video is already planned in a future version of PTE ?

    Hi wideangle,

    To be honest, I very rarely visit the forum for more than a year.

    About the templates, I still plan to continue to produce them.

    I have almost 10 different ideas in head. But I miss time and I have other priorities right now.

    And actually, I am waiting for a future version to include the blur feature. I really need it.

    I hope this feature will be in the next version (the one after v7.5)...

    I will try to put a new demo online before going in vaccation next wenesday (more than 3 weeks in Australia for the next solar eclipse :-).

    After Paris in April 2012, this is my second marathon. It was the 30th of september.

    I went to Berlin with my biggest fan, muy daughter Abigail.

    She gave me the courage to beat my best performance and to finish the 42.195km in exactly 3:08'33'' (more than 13' less than my performance for the Paris Marathon).

    This video is a mix of videos I found on the internet and photos and videos of my own race.

    This is the first time I use videos with PicturesToExe... and I love to work with this media.

  14. PTE not compatible with Parallels Desktop ?

    Hi Dom,

    If you will send me the PTE file, I'll make a Mac Show and send it back to you. If it works on your Mac, then compare the files one at a time with the one you created until you find either one missing or somehow "different" from what is created by your own system. Obviously, something is slightly different if your system will play creations from someone else's native MacIntosh exe files, but not from your own.

    Do you mean the Win7-Slideshow and the Mac-Slideshow will not launch/Play from your Mac-Desktop ?

    I CAN NOT launch Mac-Slideshow.

    BUT

    I try again to launch the Mac-Slideshow I posted above and now... it runs!

    But I have no music. Could you please tell me if you do have music... or not ?

    You warned us, I didn't understand a single word! lol

    But it looks really great on the (new) iPad, perfectly smooth.

    Perfect use of animation in my opinion, slide transitions not too long. Really really nice work.

    I guess the other members of your camera club will enjoy it.

    I purchased a MacBook pro (last year model). I installed iOS X Lion.

    I installed on my Mac the software "Parallels Desktop" to run a Windows 7 virtual machine.

    I can run PTE. I can make .EXE files and run them on the Windows 7 VM.

    I can make executables for Mac.

    But when I copy them on my Mac Desktop and try to launch them, nothing happens :huh:

    Any idea what could be the problem ?

    PS : I can run on my Mac executables made by others PTE users (bbdigital by example).

    Actually, it reminds me an old request of the french touch (JPD. And Jean-Cyprien ?) asking for the ability to change the point of view (move it off the center of the screen as it is now).

    It's certainly not a priority because it's a very advanced feature for 3D software that only a very few users would need.

    But I would be curious to know what you think about this feature Igor and if it's in your plan for a future version... :)

  24. Move Keypoint in Object and Animation

    I don't want to be rude, but as it is now, I don't see the point of the CRTL+E function.

    I still prefer to use the key frame time parameter that gives the ability to move the keypoint in real time.

    I was so wrong! It is very useful already as it is.

    You can move all keypoints of an object in a single manipulation.

    It's definitely a time saver!
