For Windows and PTE aaa.JPG and aaa.jpg are the same file: In windows OS, the extensions are not case sensitive.

But PTE suppose that files are different only for the template or ZIP backup creation.

Of coarse, in my real project i modify the extension with keyboard.

in a slideshow, the same picture is present in two slides but with the filename aaa.JPG and aaa.jpg. It work well, you can create the slideshow (this is normal for windows and PTE: it is not case sensitive).

But when you want to create a template or create a backup in zip:

I think you can replace 1000 by Range("A65536").End(xlUp).Row for example and your macro is compatible with longer pte clipboard file

If I move my original images in a project around, then PTE is good about showing me the images are missing, but there is no quick and easy way to simply reset the DIR path to where the files have been moved.

The work around is costly. Bring up the Object > Properties and edit the path manually or "browse" one at a time.

I think the workaround could be :

Move the .pte file in the new directory where your pictures are.

Modify the pte and save, then move it back to his directory.

Avast write "there is a virus"(Win32:Evo-gen) for this slideshow. Of course, it is probably a false positive.

I can download other shows (zip or exe) but not all the slideshows, and one month ago, i have no problems.

Is it important for Wnsoft to know or not ?

Is it really useful ?

Audacity can extract the sound of a video.

You need to install the library ffmpeg for audacity(Edit>>prefernces>>libraries), and then drag and drop your video on the audacity windows.

Then you export it ( wav, flac, ....)

You need to simply install a new updated version. No need to uninstall previous version or the beta version of the update.

I know for "normal version".

For previous beta version (before stable version), i think it was not the case.
