I confirm this bug. Thank you!
We'll try to fix it and publish an updated version 8.0.
As a temporary solution, please replace a linked audio file in the Slide options window. Or use a command "Audio Comment" -> "Replace Audio File" in the popup menu of a slide.

Hey,
I notice that your comment audiofiles are in WAV format.
Convert them to mp3.
I made a sequense with 14 soundtracks. replacing and linking a audiotrack was no problem.
All tracks, music and comments ware mp3.

Sorry, but for my comments i prefer an uncompressed audio file like WAV format.
And the same problem occurs with mp3 ogg,... audio file.

Hello,
I want to replace an audio file which is linked to a slide.
In project options, right-click on this audio file to replace it, and choose the new file.
The new audio file seems to be linked to the slide (this is written), but it is not linked.

If you write H - H in a 7.5.10 project, open it with 8.0.6 and add a second line H - H:

Not sure , but when your mp3 is with V ariable Bit Rate, and not Constant Bit Rate, problems like you describe occurs.
PTE need Constant Bit Rate.

For the music, i understand.
For a french, this music is synonym of a french TV program called "USHUAIA NATURE" exploring beautiful places in the world. The slideshow begin with a photo of Ushuaia.but for you, there is no relationship between the music and the slide !

Hi Lin, very smooth, on my PC. (Specs below)
However, my PC cannot render any H264 show, that I have made.
It's sometimes antivirus. Try to stop antivirus when you make HD video.

Nvidia GeForce GT 220 1024 GBThe icosahedron rotation is not smooth but if i desactivate Aero (return to windows classic theme) and stop antivirus then it's perfect.

Hi,
I write about big zoom because Peter in his first post write about this problem.
I use important zoom in slideshow when i use Google Earth to show where the pictures where taken.
I think that for zoom the best is an exponentiel variation of zoom versus time in all cases.
Of course when the variation is small (may be 99% of all the zooms made in PTE), the exponentiel can be linearized and the linear zoom is sufficient.

To correct for your own "perspective" there is a checkbox on the Common Tab in Objects and Animation called "Perspective Correction for Zoom." Click this and observe a simple zoom out and zoom in and you will perceive that it is linear when ideed it compensates for you perception by actually slowing down the zoom out and speeding the zoom in accordingly.

I made a zoom of 3000 (For PTE from 100 to 300000) and click on "Perspective Correction for Zoom." doesn't work.

What you can do:
-Link the audio clip(s) to slide(s)
-Select slides, copy paste in the new project
-Unlink the audio clip(s) to slide(s) (if you want)

It can be done with only one mask container.

Sorry, I don't know what is BIZ (French).
Suppose i have a slide style with inside a picture, a mask, etc for example your Jigsaw 01.ptestyle
I apply the style, i save, making a ZIP of the project.
Then i delete the style on my PC, extract every thing from the zip and open the .pte. The picture, mask, etc is missing.
The path of this object in O&A is %style%......
We talk about that some months ago when beta version was available.

What i want to write is that the pirate is the man, not the soft. Of course, i don't want people convert exe pte files without the autorization of the author.

I don't think it's a pirating software. It's for the gamers to record their performance.
Disable the print screen button is only for windows printscreen, but all other soft can record the screen.
