SEHi Jim, Very nice work! But I'm experiencing the same problem as Guido. I tried different times after shutting down some background working programs, but problem was still there. Next time I'll try without connecting to internet, so I can shut down Norton A ans Zone A. Hope to see just as you did. My computer is a PIII one , Win 98 S.E and is three years old.

Michel, I prepared a show with 66'30'' soundtrack (MP3 , compression rate: 128 - 60,8Mo) + 745 pictures (about 100 k each) - File 94,8 Mo: No problem
-
Michel, I'll prepare a show with a 75' sound track and I'll let you know in order to better help Rymond.

Hi Robert, Audacity can also remove the noise and it's free

Hi JRR, 387 pictures in 68 seconds it means a little bit more than 5 pictures per second. For my animations I work with 5 pictures per second and I’ve no problems. But my images are 524 x 434 pixels only.. Maybe you are working with larger images; in this case , you can try with smaller sizes. I hope you succeed in your work . Do you intend to upload to the Cottage? I’d like to see it.

Pureair2000, I' ve experienced the same problem as you: I had this kind of message whenever the Ipeg file had been corrupted for one reason or another. The problem went to Igor's knowledge and I sent a corrupted Ipeg file to him for checking. The problem looks like to be desappeared with the last P2Exe v4.00: This afternoon, working to a show , I fall again into a corrupted Ipeg file; I still had the error message, but I could go on without being obliged to close the program by Ctrl*Alt+Delete Did you try last P2Exe version?
-
Igor, the P2Exe v4.00 gives us a lot of very important improvements. Now working with timeline is very easy and I especially appreciate adding new transition points "on the fly" Thank you very much

Very interesting pictures! And the article on Sukhotai (I suppose from your “North Thailand Travel Guide “) is an exhaustive one. Your site is a “must see” for each one planning to visit Thailand. Your Dictionary and your Travel Guides are the proof of big knowledge and very professional work.

Dear Granot, Thank you for emailing me your newest back up utility. I tried it and confirm my idea that this utility can interest many of us and not only the few ones who asked you for. It would be better to upload to the cottage at least as soon as your new version is ready. Thanks again Sam

The result of the difference is always the same for the nombers between the same decade (10-19 ; 20-29 ...) and is always a multiple of 9. You'll find therefore 11 different symbols Sam
-
Hi Guido, sorry, but you are not right: the ''resultant symbol " is not always " the same whatever number you choose"! Try again and you'll see (with 18, and others...) Sam

Hi Granot, I'm very interested too; but please, send it to samwhuel@hotmail.com and not to skynet adress: I can't receive attachements there! By the way, I think that it can interest many people and therefore it would be better to upload your utilility to the Cottage, if there is no problem. Thank you very much Sam

Igor, If you could provide for changing transitions effect from timeline, I'm sure everybody will applaude so strongly that you will hear the applause from your home. Without doing as sophisticated as for the update transition point, it could be sufficient to let the customize slide effect window appear directely over the timeline by clicking smwhere on it. BTW, I always have present in my mind that I'm not an expert at all! Thank you for your improvements about the timeline: now it's very easy to work with, except... reagards

Hi Guido, You are experiencing a very strange problem. As it looks like depending on a “mistake in pte file (opt_bname=-1 instead of =0), if I’ve well understood, everybody who ‘s running under Win200 or WinME should experience just the same as you, but until now (18/02/11h45), you are the only one. I checked on my machine : no problem but I’m running under Win98 SE Your problem reminded me a problem I suddenly experienced some time ago with a graphical program: all the pictures printed from it had inverted colours! Neither graphical program or printer support could help me. Then I decide to uninstall the program and to install it again and everything was running well: program had been corrupted but I don’t know why. Maybe you are overwriting the new pte programs without uninstalling the older one and this is keeping the “corruption” still present. I think this suggestion has a very, very few chances to be a good solution as it’s unlikely to have the same “corrupted” pte program on both your machines. BTW I’m not an expert at all, and many will smile at this very simple idea; but I know to be a Neanderthal man as far as computer matter is concerned. Sam

Hi Bluechip, I've installed Windows Media Player 9 and have no problems in reading my PTE shows. Did you download the right version for your operating system? Just an idea. Good luck

Hi Alan Thank you It's OK

Hi Guido, I'm sorry! I forgot about The unregisteres copy I was thinking just to ancient greec!
-
Hi Guido, I don't know who Buckb@houston is. When I first saw it, I was thinking you had changed your name! (I'm joking too)

First of all I too add my thanks to Igor for the improvements about PicturesToExe and almost for displaying effect duration on the time-line. Now it’s a great pleasure working with it. Anyways, as it is the first time I work with it, I met with the following problem: after having synchronized 40 pictures in the time-line I decided to add 5 pictures more. When I open the file I find all the 45 pictures into PTE, but I can not find the last 5 pictures in the time line in order to synchronize them, whatever I try. Is it normal or ( more probably) am I doing smth wrong, and in this case what to do exactly? Thank you for your help

Cappy is a very, very nice girl! I understand that you were so in a hurry to tell her your love that you couldn’t wait for the registered copy of PTE. But now you did it; I hope you did register the copy, because PTE, it’s a very wonderful software which you can do many nice shows with.
-
Hi to all I was thinking about this me too this afternoon! It would be very helpful.
-
Michel I think you were right to put out the challenge but I’ll not take it up for these reasons: 1°) It’s your show, your pictures, your emotions; I could share with you these emotions, so it’s good enough for me. 2°) I never look at somebody’s else show o pictures thinking to what I’d have myself done. I always forget myself and freely look at somebody’s work: if I like it I applaud; if I don’t like, I do not go to the end. Anyway, if somebody puts out a challenge on how to develop an idea with a show, I’ll take it.

Michel, I've just downloaded your last version of To Marie : Now I have the 2 missing seconds of music and it is perfect: I'm happy sam

The effervescent mind of our friend Granot has given birth to 2 new little but interesting programs: an autorunmaker and a Tex editor. I find the autorunmaker very easy to use even for beginners and it let you make autorun with files on the root of a CD as well as with folders in the CD. As far as the Editor Text is concerned, it can be used instead of NotePad: its advantage are the possibility to open big files and edit RTF or HTML texts. Very easy even for beginners. Thanks again to Granot AUTORUMAKER can be downloaded from http://www.beechbrook.com/pte/ TEXT EDITOR will be soon downloadable
