-
Brian i emailed you my phone # ken
-
Brian does the music play when yo play the exe click the exe where it is saved -- not preview in the pte program ken
-
Brian did you test the avi prior to the burn to see if you have sound can be done either with windows media player or at a certain point in the roxio dvd process k
-
Brian when you click the video button it makes a temp avi and opens a new window when the function is complete - do not close this window until the dvd mking is complete btw, you can have several of these windows open at one time if you were doing a multiple show dvd - you would import all the avi's into Roxio DVD maker before starting the burn -- positioning as you see fit as to their sequence i had to have a nap to clear my mind as well ken
-
Davel welcome to the forum there are programs available that allow one to do screen captures - allow you to save/print the picture. and most of the dvd authoring/playing software have capture features as well there have been many threads on this subject and they can be found with the search function - the secret is to use the proper search function - -try screen capture for a start and select > 30 days -- it has not been a topic for a bit ken

Stevie welcome to the forum convert your exe to avi -- burn to dvd use zoom feature of your remote control for your dvd player/tv setup simple, quick and everybody else in the room can see your zoom my grandson found the zoom button this morn ken
-
Briank welcome to the forum it sounds like you have a multitude of errors first did you do a save as then a create as this will give you an exe that can be burned to a cd to be played on another computer now if you are planning on making a video for dvd/tv - [you are in the video section] - you have to go a few steps further to convert the exe to a temporary avi file see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...t=ST&f=4&t=1408 for starters then get back to forum with more details and more instructions ken

Barb the key data in the registry has to be exported oot of the regsistry to a spot on your hard drive if you are not familiar with playing in the registry you better get out of it before you get into deep trouble the reason yours does not look like the others in the thread is because all the letters are not being shown as a security measure if you have found the registry entry, and your version is registered then why go further. but if you must in the right column l click on "key" to hilight it then on left column toolbar file/export the registry will ask you where you want to export it to and what you want to name it example aug_10_04_p2e_key.reg when it is exported/saved close the registry go to the spot you saved it to it should look like a bunch of little blue boxes now if you want to look at it r mouse the reg key open with notepad and you will see a very long series of numbers take tand save this reg key in its reg form to a floppy and or cd and save it in a safe place that you can remember where it is -- tea box for the vicar ) if you require a new key you will have to provide all the original order data to the wnsoft support people to get a new key hope i have not confused you and i hope i got it right if i didnt Al, Guido, Gerard or others will correct me ken

by using the forum search feature http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...2157&hl=reg+key ken

well i have made several dvd shows using the pte default settings for North America, encoded them using roxio suite, nero suite and windvd suite i take no special care when putting the show together - -i scan them in at 1078/768 with an average pict size of 75 to 150 kb then setting them to full screen and the resizing the screen to 90 to 95% i have several different sizes of tv's at home but no widescreen to test on thus i have to take them to electronic outlets and to friend's places and play them on wide screen tv's and have not had a problem or an objectionable display - i was actually amazed at the excellent quality. so i would suggest you maybe try your shows on a normal tv and then tell us how the results were ken
-
DJay how does it play on a normal tv ken
-
Phil it will also help bigtime if you change the wav to a mp3 ken
-
Djay welcome to the forum can you change the aspect ratio on the widescreen tv?? ken
-

-
Mackem welcome to the forum see http://beechbrook.com/upload/ the form is pretty well self explanatory things to remember -- follow all instructions only click the upload button once and be patient with the process -- it takes a bit to upload make sure [if you are using IE browser} that view/status bar is checked so you will see the upload progressing ken

I put my "PRO THINKER's HAT" on and i think EZThumbs will do all the resizing and it is also free!! http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/?Easy%20Thumbnails=2800 funny how we overlook the little freebies all the time Al Robinson remembered Irfanview's talents and that brought out other ways to do it etc one doesn't need a Ferrari to do a "Mini" chore and i dont think the goal of pte is to become a full fledged grapics editor, tho' Igor mentioned quite some time ago there was a possibilty of enabling a "smarter" editor -- guess it got lost in his "To do list" ken

this just in from Bart at 17:40 est ken Ken.. Just want to inform you about some bad news on my site! I have been hit bad by a hacker! It all happen about 15 minutes ago!! I will be out of contact for a few days, to find a better piece of software. Thanks, Bart

Phil also keep your music mp3 not greater than 128 bit ken
-
Welcome to the forum Phil you have encountered a problem that many users experience - lack of computing horsepower. Have your customer's copy and paste the exe to their hard drive and quite likely they will be able to run it ken
-
WA5IJA welcome to the forum. the loading notice has been gone for quite some time. Igor reworked the program so the exe would load faster and it became unnecessary. one can tell if the exe is made with an "old version" of PTE if the "loading" popup occurs ken
-
Skippy you will have to resave your images in photoshop -- i believe there is a "save for web" setting. save them under a different name so that you stll have the originals. most members use jpgs in the 75 to 125 kb size in their shows and creative art does not come "easy" ken
-
Vern a quick google http://www.google.ca/search?q=direct+marke...le+Search&meta= lots of hits ken
-
EILLC welcome to the forum did you try copying the exe from the cd to the hard drive of the other systems and try to play it?? there are a lot of things that come into play when trying to play from the cd ken

Ron the registry key code is embedded in the registry if you use the search of the forum we had a discussion a few weeks back as to its location and how to extract it and save it see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...t=ST&f=2&t=2157 did you try to do a save as under a different file name example original file name grand canyon.pte create as grand canyon.exe then save as rev grand canyon.pte create as rev grand canyon.exe what happens ? ken
