  1. Hi again, I am a fairly busy social photographer and my findings are that since I started using digital cameras two years ago the reprint sales have gone up quite considerably so most people are either not bothered to try to copy ( and remove my watermark ) my proofs, however the rare occasion where no reprint sale resulted (one job was probably the best baby portraits I have ever managed ) was where the proofs were hard copy and not marked , any slideshow provided has always resulted in sales so call me superstitious but the slideshow is cheaper more impressive and deters most average mortals such as myself keep on rocking Regards Clive
  2. Hello Sue , The Million Dollar question , I think if people are determined enough they will find a way to capture an image through various software, its been a hot issue here in the past I think if you use low resolution images so as to be fairly useless to them as a printable file is a good start ,a watermark on your images is a good second as for the lisence I think you need the commercial lisence its very good value and if you are using this program for commercial gain then you are required to, its a trust thing between you and the vendor, brilliant program so it is. You can disable print from screen in project options good luck and enjoy, Regards Clive
  3. Hi Steve, You sound as though you are enjoying p to exe. the finest utilities for making your CD'S Autorun can be downloaded from Granot's site if you look up boxiq's profile his link is there there is a treasure trove of programs to download FREE happy days Steve regards, Clive

  5. Hi Gamy, You have the option to add your own Icon in project options "Add 32x32 icon " & "Add16x16 icon these icons must be in 16 0r 256 colours I hope some of the other more advanced users like Alan Lyons who I know can help read this post and reply, I have very little to offer in this direction though as your post seems to have been up here a bit longer than usual without a reply I thought you could have a go it seems straight foward good luck with your shows , Keep on ROCKING Clive.
  6. Ok Connie Wonderful Name, I have not read the offending reply you seem to have got, as English is not everyone in the forums first language the replies can sometimes seem a little curt eventually the humor shines through though so dont take it to heart Slan ,Clive
  7. Hi Steve I will answer the first part of your question as I know Granot will be the best to get you AUTO RUNNING To add music track 1. go to project options 2. go to music 3. add music now you need to have a track saved in for instance MY MUSIC .I personally use mp3 as my choice of format you need to convert your music files using a ripper you can find this software on the web CDtomp3 is pretty simple and is available as a limited trial to download full version is about €20.00 for some reason wav. files would not work for me though I think they should but are not as compact a format. I would also welcome a way to save a show on DVD Regards Clive.
  8. I knew someone would come up with a less longwinded explanation than mine. Good one Granot " how much you pay me" I like your style Regards Clive,
  9. Hi Silas, Welcome to the forum I shall attempt to put you right so from one ignoramus to another here goes assuming you have a CD Writer to go with your Nero you need to open said software, you will be greeted by a window offering you the option of a multisession disc .....continue multisession or no Multisession for a CD that has not been wrote to before click on first or last option in the top righthand side of the same window click on new in your new window you should be able to access a file browser in which you find your slide show where ever you saved it to for instance Silas .exe should appear in the far righthand colum click and drag it to the far left colum it should then appear in the second from the left hand side colum now with a disc in your drive go to the toolbar across the top and the 8th icon from the left......... click this and a new window opens click write and your there phew!!!!! I am sure you will get easier explanations from all the generous and knowledgable geniuses that make up a great membership have fun and keep on rocking!!! regards Clive Ps, perhaps boxiq can write you a program to do all the above if he has not already done so as I write !!!!!
  10. Hi and welcome, In answer to the thorny issue of copyright protection Fujiboy posted a cracking link to a site for doing exactly what you require see his post at http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index.php? page 2 titled "Picture Protector" and be careful using the word copyright in this forum it can get a bit heated !!! have fun Clive
  11. Hi Harry, Well all is not lost I think you only need the email address that you submited with your order , anyway keep the faith as they will sort this out to a satisfactory conclusion I am sure of this after having being in your situation myself and was fixed Keep on Rocking Regards Clive.
  12. Hi Joe , What are you trying to do to Poor Alan (ta for the Birthday wishes Alan) welcome to the forum Jaysus! Joe go easy on Alan I need lots more of his knowledge before you can choke him and yes a FAQ's section would be a great addition to an already fab Forum. I think one or two others have been requesting a categories section alRobin for one though I have yet to hear anyone complain when a simple Question is posted in fact the members are more than obliging and very few are not replied to, once again great to see your name up here Keep it rocking regards Clive.
  13. Hi Linda when you try to open your cd can you see any files at all ? if so are there" jpg markers" on the file name eg, "Linda 01 .jpg, if the .jpg is missing try replacing it by copying the file and renaming it , sometimes if filenames are too long they get shortened by the burn process I have had CD's in the past that just refuse to open but if there is a file showing then this might help Keep the faith, Regards Clive

  17. Hi Bluechip, I have windows millenium though one of the machines I tried the show on runs XP but it was not created on it also (the dirty 9 letter word) copyright would not be a problem they were just a few tracks my friends son put together and I dare to call them music, cover your ears should be somewhere in the lyrics but they would be sentimental nontheless Keep on Rocking , Regards Clive.
  18. Welcome Back from your holliers Alan keep me in mind for that workshop in April, I shall take your advice on board and as I have my problem solved I suspect it might find its way on to my very "Long Finger" not.......... it will make Life easier if I find out the reason it happened I must get some sort of sound editor cooledit seems to be a favourite with the members here . I am astonished by the amount of knowledge in this forum and the generosity with it too I am very happy to sponge ......the emoticon is for Granot when he gets back from his long walkie, Keep on Rocking Boxig , Regards THE VERY ROYAL IRISH Clive

  22. At least one of the machines is twice as powerfull as mine the transitions are less than a second and the duration set at 12 seconds and no I have not mixed the tracks though this has not presented a problem for me before and I accept your recomendation to mix the tracks I seem to remember Alrobin offering the same advice in a serarate thread, I will look at this for the future for now I think I will try ripping the tracks again as I cannot remember which way I did them all, thanks Jim, regards Clive
  23. I have tried the show with & without the sync box checked and it does continue without the sound ( as this is the problem) version v 4 beta # 8 tracks play fine on my machine they are selected to play in order and as I say it goes fine on my Kit but not on two others Ken . I have not tried midi , the only options set are slide duration and trans time 1900 and trans effects fade only but I have tried it without also and thanks for asking hope you can sort me thanks Clive.
  24. Can someone please help , I have put together a slideshow of old photos for a friends birthday and while it runs fine on my Kit it will not behave on other computers, it consists of 34 low res, images and 3 mp3 files, the show runs fine during the first track then the music ceases and the slides continue without music His birthday (happybirthday Boxig) is nextweek and I hope to have this resolved before then Thanks in advance Clive.
  25. Another place to save your screensavers is in the " my pictures"folder if you are using MS Windows, so when you rigth click your desktop in properties you have the option to set any image from this folder as a screen saver or Background it is usually the basic questions that catch us all, its all relevant and needs to be considered by everyone and from my experience in this forum there are lots of members ready to help and guide those in need of it as the last two posts have shown good luck with your work Photoguy00 Regards Clive
