Hi Stu, I added your tips too to "Readme2". If any useful tip will come in time, please let me know so I can add it. Thanks Granot

nobeefstu way is somehow more practic. My suggestion is good for recalling single images. 1) Make thumbnail of all images. 2) Put them all in rows on first page. 3) Make a link to eack thumb to go the the slide number where the big image is. Finished
-
The simple way to do this is by using "First Page" on the navigation bar.All you have to do is make your First Page to be a thumbs index of about 100 x 80 thumbs so you can put about 60 thumbs (you can use also page 2 if you have more slides). Then put a link under each thumb to the slide. Granot

Ed, There is no limitation on numbers of captures. There are only two things you have to do: 1) Check how long time between each slide so you can write the pause time between captures. 2) See that your show is on top the utility so it will not be captures too. Please try again. Please let me know. While checking the utility I added few functions: Now you can tell it how many times you want to screen capture. Now the utility will disapear while working and come back when finished. You get a Finished message. If you are not sure for how many times to capture - give bigger number. You can stop it in the middle by click on "Home" keyboard key. (this last feature I forgot to test so please let me knoe if any problem). I will work on new version with more features like run a slideshow from images captures and maybe restore a pte project (only images). Granot

Try this utility. Let me know if it did the job. Granot

Husband: "My dear wife, the wine make you sexy and desirable" Wife: 'But I didn't drink any wine" Husband: "I did" ....and now to serious things: MultiCapture If your show is protected this will capture all your slides (keep it a secret) Write the time delay between captures in milliSeconds and click on "Start". Images will be saved in the program folder as cap1.jpg, cap2.jpg...and it will not overwrite if you "Stop" and "Start" again. Once you close the program, you should relocate or rename the images since next time you use the program it will overwrite old images. You can use it to make tutorial by capturing all your moves on screen, make gif or avi (with third party program). This is a Free program. No. 117. Granot

Dear Oleg, You are 100% right. I always see first time show without sound. If I want to feel the art of photograpy, my judgment will be influenced by the music, to good or bad. I prefer without transitions too, just photos. This can include background then I look at the whole slide as a photo. Of course every artist can do what he likes and multimedia is ok. But sometimes you can take an avarage photo, add some effect and music and you get art that people like. As for me, as I said, I like to enjoy the photo net without any addition. This is only my private opinion. I always look at it as a not so beautiful girl who put on a great dress and makeup and looks 10. But she is not realy very beautiful. This is the reason why I liked the photos, I shut down the music and the photos are good. Same like taking off the makeup off the girl's face, and if she's still beautiful.... Granot

Grace, Try this: split your file to 10 or more small files and send them one by one (10 minutes between emails). If you use a split program which creates exe, rename it to any other name. You can try "Chainsaw split", "WinSplit" or "GSplit". Granot

Really enjoyed this one. Perfection in all aspects. Only one big problem - I forgot if I could use the keyboard to return to previous slides, which I very much wanted to do all the time. Album like this, where each slide is better then the other, and which is very long, must have an index page to which I can go from any slide and then go to slide I want. If you make one like this, let me know. (just add at the end a slide with thumbnails each one linked to its slide, and a very small dot at corner of all slides to go to index. This will be very helpful for people who want to enjoy again some of the photos). Thank you for your great work Granot

SlideMaker - Beta version ================== This is a Free program. It was made by combining two of my programs (TextOnPic + BGpaint) and adding some new features. It will allow you to manipulate your image before adding it to your slideshow (or whatever). It is designed to make a 800 x 600 jpg image. What you can do with it: Zoom in/out to resize the image. Choose background color in easy way or... Choose background image 800 x 600 or bigger (will be reduced to 800x600). Add a TextBox with your text line (copyright, image name etc.) Full control over color of TextBox and color and style of fonts. Place and resize TextBox anywhere. Add a Logo or any second image on top, resize it and move it. Input can be JPG or BMP image. Save the results as jpg in folder you choose. Hot Keys ====== Control position of TextBox left arrow =============== Move TextBox to left right arrow =============== Move TextBox to right up arrow =============== Move TextBox up down arrow =============== Move TextBox down Control the size of TextBox image Alt + left arrow =============== Make the TextBox shorter Alt + right arrow =============== Make the TextBox longer Control position of logo image Ctrl + left arrow =============== Move Logo to left Ctrl + right arrow =============== Move Logo to right Ctrl + up arrow =============== Move Logo up Ctrl + down arrow =============== Move Logo down Control the size of logo image Alt + R =============== Make Logo wider Alt + L =============== Make Logo narrower Alt + U =============== Make Logo shorter Alt + D =============== Make Logo longer Program No. 116 ....... any idea for 117 ? Thanks Guido, I will make it black. What effect you mean, the curtain ? I'll wait for some more tips from members (stu, where are you ?) and release it. Thanks for your help Granot
-
.... and to help you choose the fonts you like to use in PTE project I made a small utility which will show you all your fonts as they really look. Program name: SeeFonts Program No. 115 Granot
-
Hi to all members, Since I want to release final version it is difficult to decide with so little feedback. As for now: Full screen with black background. Curtain effect or not ??? Guido and Stu, I'm waiting for few tip lines about speed to include in the help file. Any more comments from anyone will help. Granot
-
Fixed a small bug. Before if you use arrows to resize TextBox the box jumps up. Now it will not work till you Choose an image. See sample of image with TextBox and Logo: Sample Granot
-
TextOnPic Add a text box - can change length of box and position on image. Can choose font, color and style. Add a Logo image to top left corner - can be resized. Add to JPG or BMP - save as JPG. See samples of all your fonts using the drop menu. Program No. 114 on My Webpage Free program. See sample of image with TextBox and Logo: Sample Thanks Granot

Marianne, this can not be done. I have an idea how I can do it but I'm not sure it will work. I can add some background images and detect screen size and then resize the image, but this will make it too heavy and maybe will affect the speed. If most feedback will favore black so I'll make it black. Granot
-
This I'll change to 1 x 1 instead of 10 x 10 so it will not be seen. Background color can be changed too. But to what color ? I assume everyone wants another color. As for adjusting speed, I'll wait to gather more feedback and for Guido and Stu to give their tips, and then I hope the result will be good enough for most computers. Granot
-
Hi Stu, good to hear from you. Yes, I think it will take many more versions till Igor will add the pano feature, if at all. That's why I'm trying to make it the best I can. On your free time try to download the two last files one and two and I'm sure you'll have some tips to members how to fit it to the machine it is going to play. And if you have any advice for me or suggestion I'll be glad to learn. Thanks and have a nice week, Granot

Andreas HaHa ! So many machunes, so many Operating Systems ! The best idea is if all users will buy an old computer and use win98 like me. I assume as every day new and better computers are born, we will need Guido to tell us what to do on each. He is also the one to give an advice, because as I said, I'm ignorant in this subject. But the point is not what machine you have but what machine your users have. Same problems we had with PTE at the past, when everyone show the same show different. I think the best way is to use the Full screen version. Is this one works fine on your machine ? I added the curtain effect to replace the Fade effect, but is the effect really necesarry ? Now that Guido have all the test versions we wait for him to write a small guide. Let's wait also for some more feedback. Guido, Did you have same problem on on of your machines ? What is your advice here ? This utility really emptied my mind resources, the most diffucult to make. Did you see my"URLKeeper" - small program made to relax my mind. Granot

Thanks Guido for your helping. I uploaded another test file which has a curtain effect, when the pano is open like a curtain. I leaved the previous test file and uploaded this one in another name here: http://www.thailandphotoalbum.com/PanoRunnerEffect.zip The previous is here: http://www.thailandphotoalbum.com/PanoRunn...nner48Timer.zip and the original is still on my site. I hope you all will help me to decide which is the best one for the final version. Guido, when final version will be released, I hope you will make a small guide and advices how to configure for different machines because I know nothing about this as to what speed to give to different kinds of computers. Waiting for feedback Granot
-
Uploaded a new test file with full screen here: http://www.thailandphotoalbum.com/PanoRunn...nner48Timer.zip I hope you like the color, must be prefixed color (can be changed by demand). Please let me know it it solved the Bar problem. As for Fade in/out: I can't do it (sorry). I tried this but it uses too much resources and interfear with the movement. But there is another simple way, to manipulate the image in Photoshop (or other) using the gradient tool at two ends of image. I will try to make one image and replace it with the original pano.jpg. Granot

Andrew and Marianne I will sit now to see if I can make it full screen. I didn't try before since I thought beeing part of the show you probably want it like this. As Marianne said, fade in/out is very difficult since I have to move the image, but I will try if I can fade it before movement starts. As for the help icon, again as Marianne noted, can be removed versus registration. As long as it's free, I like to get some credit as the maker I'll write here soon (today). Thank you for all your important remarks for improvement Granot
