Hi Lenny, I'm glad you like this utility. The business card is a simple exe which you make with PTE. Just make a one (or two) small slides like a card, with active links to your email and web site. I didn't understand the above (sorry), can you please explain ? Stu, did you forget there are some utilities which run the show from the Hard Drive ? I was thinking more of runing one PTE show on one side and a text utility in a narrow column on other side so we'll have pictures to go with text, this can be great for my Travel Guide books.

Stu, that's exactly what was on my mind - what if we really want to run two presentations side by side ? Very useful for tutorials or for family album, for example, on left side runing "My Weding" and on right side "My divorce". I hope Igor will add this feature one day : "Start show at X,Y".

Well, it was really a long time ago and many PTE new versions came out, so I think you don't need this 1 pixel trick we were using when we didn't want any image on our slide, or at least not in the center. So we used the almost unvisivle 1 pixel image. This was when we still lived in caves but in our modern days we just uncheck the "Show Image" on left of images list. Or in other words, we use the wall switch to turn the light on instead of using the firestones. The best thing in progress is that you can still use the 1 pixel trick, same way as you can still use the firestones.

Hi Charlie, On each button you choose the action "Run application or open file". Write the name of the mini show you want this button to open, example: ceremony.exe. Do not put the " ", just the name of show. You can put this action also under an image, so you can use images instead of buttons. you can use also transparent images in case you make one background image. There are also some free utilities which you can use to open multi shows which you can find Here.

Hi Guido, long time no hear. Yes, using this utility at starting of show is main use, but some can find it useful at any slide, if they want to give long information about the slide. As for Bold and Italic, I think it is possible and I will sit on it. I hope everything is ok with Piza, I heard it's going to fall (don't stand near it). Lenny, just include TypeWriter.exe and configure.txt files in the CD at the root (same place as your show and not in a folder). Whatever is on the CD will work as it works on a folder.

Lenny, Is this happens when using the "TyWrEdit.exe" or the "TypeWriter.exe" ? By the way, it was made on win98 so no problem are expected.

No comments on "TypeWriter" ? Nevertheless I uploaded new version where you can choose the font style too (font name). You can use it not only with PTE but for many other uses like leaving a cute typing message especially now that you can choose the fonts you like.

Robert, basically it is done. I wanted to get members opinion and ideas how it can be improved before uploading. I will upload in 24 hours the Beta version. Fred, multi resize maybe on future versions. The main feature of this tool is the ability to manimulate the X,Y of the image and see it on screen. Robert, this was really tough ! Ok, now you can crop the image and play with the X, Y with the arrows. The croped image will be resized to 320 x 240 and you resize from there. This was a great suggestion and great headache. Granot

AL, Never use synchronized and know little about it, but I'm thinking, if starting and ending point of each slide have their corresponding point in the sound file, why can't we use the Nav Bar for example, to go to previous slide, and when we go again to next slide, points will meet again ? It seems logic but I have a feeling it's hard to do. Am I completely wrong ? Granot

Hi all, Since I know every one of you guys has a Thumbnail program, I would like to hear your opinion. I'm planing to make a unique tool which will do this: Browse to open jpg and Image is displayed clean on screen without any border in 320 x 240 size. Now you use keyboards arrow, Up, Down, Left, Right to change Image size accordingly and the X,Y are displayed on image. When you like what you see, you click on image and Image is saved as jpg in the chosen size. Thanks to Robert's suggestion (see below), now you can crop the image and play with the X, Y with the arrows. The croped image will be resized to 320 x 240 and you resize it from there. Michel Long time ago I read about this format not so promising future. There are many better formats then the familiar JPG but they still can't replace the old JPG. But if Igor can do it - why not, it will be only for the better. I only wonder how many people are using this format. Granot

Hi all, I made a small utility and need some feedback. It is a window opened by "Run application" from a customized slide or at the end of the show. In the window your text is being typed like a typewritting, line after line. There is also a baby utility attached, where you choose the color and size of fonts and write your text. It is called "TypeWriter" and you can find it HERE. Another small program is called "ScreenBaby'. Although you will not like this one because it can capture screen even when your PTE show is protected by "Don't allow PrintScreen to copy pictures" but it can help you recover lost images from protected show, which I often see do happens to members. It is also great tool for those of you who make tutorials and need to capture active windows or selections from screen. Enjoy them both Granot

Cici, nobeefstu, cici, in manual show only the "enter" close show ? all other keys do nothing ? stu, what you mean "keys seem to function normally" ? meaning doing nothing or doing something ? and why keys on cici's computer act different then mine ? hope other members will check too. Just trying to add some hot keys to a new voice utility (play few sounds files from one slide) but I realized those hot keys make my show crazy working on the show instead of the utility. Granot

Uploaded 4.10 and noticed strange things. Show reacts to keys in different ways, "Space" close the show, arrows move slides and sometimes close show, "Enter" close show.... Is it supposed to be like that or it's my computer ? Thanks for help Granot

Mike Check also my "Autorun.inf Maker - version 3" free utility. Will generate advanced "autorun.inf" file for CD. It's Help file include a lot of information. Also you can add some other functions to your autorun with this utility then the basic one. Find it On My Webpage to download. Hi Ken Do you mean the show comes to an end before the scrolling text ? That means it run different on your/my computers. The text sould come to end one slide before the last and the text window should disappeared, and then one more slide for 3 seconds and show close. This is not good. So let's see how other members see it. If this problem will appear on more computers, I'll have to give up. Thank you Ken for testing it. Granot
