Hi Igor,
I have tried on my laptop & it works OK - as it did before.
I will try on my desktop, but may be later in the week.

It will be posted on the forum so keep checking.

Hi George, I use two Benq led monitors 16x9.
Can't tell you the model number off hand, but very pleased with them.
Got the second last year from Amazon when my old flat screen one failed.
No sound though as I use. My hifi connected to the pc.

Yes, just drag to the position you want it.
As you drag you can easily add another track, you will see a thick black line in between tracks. If you drop the clip there it will add another track.

You need to also put the modifier on the pan and rotate, even though you aren't using them.
Doing it on all 3 pan, zoom and rotate seems to work.
PTE Always has needed this whenever changing from linear.

Not at all.
PTE is rigously tested by the community before each version goes live.
I have been use PTE for over 15 years and highly recommend it.

have you got 'wait for keypress' on your first (blank) slide??
Does preview play in the mini window - main screen?

Right click on an audio point to remove it.
The only way your sound clip would move by itself is if you are adding it as an audio comment, rather than just dragging it into the timeline.
You normally only have one audio comment track.
I have never had this problem, but I always add my sound by dragging it from the file list into the timeline.

Yes.
Add an image or text object or button for each show you wish to run.
In objects and animation, properties tab, select action on mouse click. Then from the drop down menu select run application or open file and navigate to your chosen show.
If the show is made with the same version of PTE then you can select run slideshow. But it must be the same sub version, eg 10.0.10
Have a try in the trial version.
You need to set the Menu slide to wait for keypress so that it will return to that slide when your show is finished.

You can easily make a Menu to run both MP4 and exe shows. But the Menu has to be an exe file.

I would regard it as a nice workaround, perhaps not as a user-friendly solution for dynamic shadows.
I agree, keypoints for shadows would be much more user friendly.

This is not the first time I have made this mistake and I thought there used to be a button you could press to change the picture. I can no longer find that button.
Settings/Preferences/Toolbars make sure Change image/video file is ticked.

yes it is.
You will not be disappointed if ypu purchase PTE10, it is an excellent program.

Do we need the button at all?
I can't think of a situation where I would ever want/need to hide the key points.

The above shows the reasons why I never use Slide Styles or FSD - Total confusion !!!
New users don't stand a chance
Small point Gary but AB is actually the Transition Type not the Transition Duration.

glad you have sorted it

Make sure you are in timeline view and not slide view.
Jill

In timeline view, Click on the centre of the slide you want to start from and drag it to the right. All the following slides should also move with it.
Then use the cut transitions feature to bring them back left in time to your music.

If the preview is running then that screen should already have focus.
If not then use Alt+Tab to quickly get to that window.
I thought that only one PTE window could have focus. Unless that has changed, I only have one monitor at the moment so can't check.

you need to do File/Open then navigate to where Sequence 2 is in your computer folder/file list.
Click Open and the slides for Sequence 2 will appear in the SlideList. The FileList will not change & you will need to navigate to the correct Folder within PTE to see the files(images) for that sequence.

I have just downloaded 10.10 onto my laptop - also win7 64 bit
And everything works as it should.
On both main PC & laptop I download from the Forum & don't associate PTE icon.
My laptop was previously version 10.05
Desktop was 10.09Jill

tried again & yes the Triangle in slide view & Timeline view closes the program.
PTE pro 10.0.10 build 6
Windows 7 64 bit
I start a new project - which opens my default template of 2 blank slides.
I add some extra slides in Slide viewPress the triangle & PTE immediately closes without any warning -does the same even if I don't add any slides.
Also same from sample project
It worked fine using PTE 10.0.9 so I may well restore that version, although working on anything at the moment.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
As I said I only downloaded 10.10 today. I think the triangle worked ok, will check later when back on computer.

I tried with 10.9 & it worked as usual.
Just downloaded 10.10 & yes F4 does close down PTE.
This happens with both a new or old project.
I think most people would use the little triangle to enter fullscreen slidelist rather than the function key
But having something that instantly closes down the program without saving the changes is not good.Jill
Again, again, ......

At our AV group meetings we have sessions for work in progress. People can show their projects for constructive comments and help. They are very useful.
I support the suggestion of a separate section for this purpose.
