  1. TOP! Applause, Superb! Yes I loved it, like a movie, suspence is building up, great combination of music and effects, also the photo's are really top. I'm a photographer and macro is the thing I shoot most (www.foto-beeld.nl (Dutch, sorry!) I'm really impressed! Gerard
  2. Another of my movie presentations, made from members of my online photo club (www.wfcfotobeeld.com). Special to this presentation is the contest, a sentence of 8 words hidden in 6 photo's, just 10 members found the right sentence, did I made it to difficult, pherhaps! Download and view my presentation Thank you for any comments.
  3. Dank je wel Bert, leuk een Nederlander tegen te komen. Sorry, but Bert is a countyman, so a little Dutch for him. Gerard
  4. Oeps, I accidently did delete the presentation, I've put it back and the link does work again. The download link: http://www.foto-beeld.nl/presentaties/urban-suspense.exe (25mb) Gerard
  5. I just finished this presentation card. For a long time I had an idea to make an animated Christmas card, but how to make falling snow, well last week Lin Evens told me how to do make it, thanks Lin, it helped me alot. So maybe a bit late to show you the card, but I'll do it anyway. About the card: The picture was taken in Middelburg, a very nice town with lots of photo opportunities in south western part of Holland (Zeeland, translation into English: Zealand, New Zealand gets it's name from it). Falling snow, snow on houses and street were painted in layers in Photoshop, as were all the Christmas lights, lights in the houses etc. Houses, moon and clouds are photographs by me, Santa was taken from internet All these graphics were saved as PNG transparent files and imported in PTE, see attached screenshot of the objects/animationscreen in PTE of this presentation. Music track from Elvis his version of White Christmas, was edited an additional sound effects were put in. Music and sound effects were mixed in: Acoustica MP3 audio mixer and saved under another name as MP3 file. Well this is the link to view the card (13mb): http://www.foto-beeld.nl/presentaties/x-mass-card.exe All suggestions on how to improve the presentation are welcome. Gerard
  6. Dear Paulo, Your comments on my presentation does not offend me, it is a constructive comment, thanks for your comment. The quality of the images, you are right about that, higher quality would be better ofcourse, but for this presentation not possible. Because all of these images are from other members of our Webfotoclub, I cannot do muc editing because of copyright, therfore 3 images are not completely in black and white. For future productions I try to get higher quality images from our members. Gerard
  7. Thanks Lin, I have registered and downloaded the file, now I have to study it. Gerard
  8. Dear TheDom, I understand what you mean, right now I'm doing some editing and try to do what you propose, unfortunatly higher resolution images are not available for me now, it should be a surprise to the members, cropping is not always appreciated with pictures from someone else, so I won't do that. As I understand you say fade to black after every slide, or just after a few sildes, ans would panning better than zooming the pictures? The show has to be finished before new year. Telling a story is very dificult especially when you have to choose from arround a few 1000 pictures which are not yours, there are about 89 pictures in the movie which quallify for this movie. Thank you for your much apreciated input, I hope you find the time to answer my question about panning/zooming and fading. Gerard
  9. Wow! even without special glasses it looks good, I will find myself some 3D glasses and I will view your show again. Gerard
  10. Thanks Ken, I've changed it. The presentation though is not on my pages, only directly from the link mentioned in my post above. Gerard
  11. Hi Lin, I've watched your presentation, boy winter looks good there, in Holland now snow unfortunatly. I wondered how did you do the snow falling thoughout the show, I really want to learn that. Very nice show also from a photography point of view. Gerard
  12. Fast and interesting show Ian, from Holland I also say seasons greetings to you and all other members. Gerard
  13. Dear forum members, More and more I get the hang of P2E, I've created several slideshows now. But more I turn the slideshows into short movies with a soundtrack from a movie. I'm a member and moderator of a digital photoclub (WFC, www.webfotoclub.nl, Dutch), two months ago I was asked to make a presentation of the pictures of our members, because on january 25th we have a club meeting, so far I've made five presentations, of which the one I would like to show you now, by far the most complex one is. For 90% all photo's are in black and white, music is from the movie V for Vendette, it's a suspense like movie, well I should be stop talking and give you the download link for the movie, tell me what you think, it still need some fine tuning but I'm working on that. This movie took me approx. 4 weeks (not non stop) to build. The download link: http://www.foto-beeld.nl/presentaties/urban-suspense.exe (25mb) Gerard
  14. Dear Ken, Through the link ypu provided I found a PDF file on how to create a custum template, I will study this file and see what I can do, thanks so far. Gerard
  15. Dear forum members, I want to make my first DVD with video builder, there are a few templates from which I can choose, but what if I want to have my own template? In other words, how can I make my own template for video builder for my DVD's? I'm sorry if there is already a topic on this, but I couldn't find it. Gerard from Holland.
  16. Thanks jfa, I will download 5.5 tonight and install it. Gerard
  17. @jfa, go show my work in your camera club, although it's in Dutch, your members are welcome to visit my website, I have a portfolio in which more macro photo's can be seen. Now I joined this Forum, maybe I need to take some time to make my website also available in English, will be alot of work, I will consider translating my site into English. Gerard
  18. Good presentation Igor, nice to see the zooming effects in this one, I will try to do this myself in a next presentation of which some can be seen in this posting: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8598 By the way, I have a licensed version of PTE 5.1, what do I have to do to upgrade to 5.5, just download it and install and use the key I have? Do I need to delete the previous 5.1 version? Thanks to you and your team for providing us this great program. Gerard

  20. Sorry, but no page at all, I get an 404 error message, page not found! http://www.multimediaenthusiasts.com/forums/ What is wrong with your page? Gerard
  21. Like other in this topic I did my best to read and understand all, no luck totally, I stranded on page 3 an wanted to add my comments to all of this. I started to use PTE 5.1 last year, so I don't have any experience with older versions. What I do know is the smooth working with PTE5.1, I found no troubles working and making shows with the program. It feels light to work with. When you get a new program it takes a while to get used to it, but when used to it it goes smoothly. I have no problems with the suggested updates of which this topic started by Igor. But I have one wish, keep it simpel and light, that's all. Gerard
  22. The full size presentation (1200x900 pix) of FLC2008 and FLC2007 I will upload to the same map as the smaller files are, but I will first see if I still have enough webspace to upload them, if I do have enough space I will upload both and will notify you all. Also I will supply the names of the soundtracks I used for the FLC2008 presentation, but all this later when I'm home from work. See posting below for details en download links. Gerard
  23. Howard, sorry for puzzling you, the title should indeed be Fierce instead of Fears, sorry but as you know English is not my native language, but it is still good to write and speak, but somtimes I get it wrong, thanks for correcting me, I will make the changes to my presentation. Gerard
  24. Thanks Robert, I'm still not a professional, I only try to do my very best. Gerard
  25. Hi, Since a year I have PTE 5.1, great, since then I've greated several presentations from my work as an amature photographer, mainly macro. Now I realeased (a big word for just an amature) my 2008 version of the FLC (Fears Little Creatures) presentation. It can be seen on my website: www.foto-beeld.nl (unfortunatly only in Dutch), click on the second button called "Portfolio" and choose the last option: "Dia presentaties macro" (on this page you are able also to see my work) or go directly to the presentations page: http://www.foto-beeld.nl/portfolio_presentaties.html At the moment there are 3 PTE presentations, besides the 2008 version of FLC there is also the 2007 version and a butterfly presentation. Of course all presentations come with a soundtrack. The soundtrack of the 2008 version of FLC was created from four pieces of soundtrack, one from the movie Hankock, and 3 pieces from the 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I hope you will like them, and by visiting my website you will be able to pollish up your Dutch Feel free to leave a message on this page: http://www.foto-beeld.nl/site_info_nieuwsb..._biografie.html and click on the third menu option: "Een reactie plaatsen" Thank you! Gerard Diepeveen, The Netherlands
