  1. Bonjour CorVdK Sorry,I'll give you an other link Thank you Jean-Cyprien
  2. You’ll find there a small example of what is now possible to do with PTE v6 and only 3 pictures : on Beechbrook.com (thank you, Beechbrook for your kindness) under the title Sydney Convict Monument (edit Oct 7th) The song was written by Maurice Druon, and set to music in 1942 by Leo Poll from a traditional Russian melody. Adapted here by Les Compagnons de la Chanson in 1950. THE GALLEY SLAVE’ SONG I remember that my mother loved me And I'm in the galleys, I remember my mother telling me, But I did not believe my mother. Do not linger in streams, Do not fight like a wild, Do not amuse you like birds, She told me to be wise. I have not killed, I have not stolen, I wanted a chance, I have not killed, I have not stolen, I wanted that every day is Sunday I remember my mother crying, Do not go for girls, Do not always do what you please, In prisons there are grids. One day the soldiers of the King ’ll take you away to the galleys. Thou shall go in threes, As they took away your father. You'll have your head shaved, There you will be put in chains. You’ll have your back broken, And it will kill me. Always you will have to row, When you get to the galleys, Always you will have to row, You will think perhaps your mother. I have not killed, I have not stolen, But I have not believed my mother. And I remember she loved me While I am rowing in the galleys. (please accept my apologies for the bad translation)
  3. Wonderful, Jean-Pierre, (as usual !) Not only a great technique, but nice pictures too. And the flag ! Congratulations. In fact, this "demo" is a pure marvel ! Just in time, too ! We're waiting for your next feat. And a lot of thanks to Igor and him team, for this new, really revolutionary PTE Jean-Cyprien
  4. Very good job, Igor ! My dodecaedron looks now as a decaedron ! and my nephews and nieces danse correctly. My sorcerer's apprentice is very happy !! Thanks a lot.
  5. Thank you for all you've done, and that you're doing !
  6. Sorry, Igor, it still doesn't work for me Even with a "right" icon
  7. Hi Lin, Thank you for your comments. I've created this icon 3 months ago (just for the fun) and don't remember now how I've done it. Sorry. (I haven't made an other one !) I'm able to open it with IrfanView, with XnView (and you're right, there are 32 bits per pixel, not 8), with Nero PhotoSnap Viewer, and with Photoshop. With Photoshop, you have to add an ICO.8bi file (easily found with Internet) in Program Files / Photoshop / External modules/ File Format. More, I think it's then possible to create a .ico file with Photoshop. I have no problem with this icon, even with the 573 version. Just with the last 574. Best regards, Jean-Cyprien
  8. Please note that the address of the access violation is different of Gérard's. Mine is 770E48A4 If it is of any interest and/or importance ?
  9. Hi Igor, Thank you for all you're doing. The version of Windows is a Windows XP - Familial Version - 2002 Version - Service Pack 3 Have a good day. Jean-Cyprien
  10. Hi Peter ! Really, I'm not sure my icon file has 16M colours ! (I think the software used to make it, didn't give me a lot of choices, and I think it was 256 !). What I'm sure, is that I've used it with PTE 5.6 without problem (and can still use it). ( I'm not the only one having such trouble, but every body doesn't speak English as well as you're speaking French, Peter ! ) If you look at the icon, and blinking a little, you could see a dodecahedron, right ? !!!! Good Evening Regards Jean-Cyprien
  11. Hello Igor, For example, if I use the attached icon, and want to create an .exe file (with the PTE button), I get the message "Access violation...." and PTE stops to run I'm working with Windows XP Thanks ! Sans_titre_2.ico
  12. Beautiful slideshow, Candeau, splendid ! Great idea those pictures in the night : nice 3D effect, and quite a special atmosphere. Wonderful characters, with their lovely dresses. And the pictures taken the following morning are splendid too. Perfect technique. Congratulations. Quite a model, and aim to be reached. I hope you’re a pioneer, and the next generation of TV, and PC, will be able to show us 3D pictures in full colours
  13. I’m very pleased, Gérard, you’ve enjoyed this, this … oh, is it really a slideshow ? Not a lot of slides inside. Next time perhaps ! Thank you so much for your very kind comment, Gérard. The construction and the rotation of the dodecahedron were my exercises (and the rotating globe – much easier to be done). It is necessary to make calculations for this. All the rest can be easily made, without the least calculation and specially the ballet (thumbnails of my great nephews and nieces). Just impressive, although rather simple to make. A pinch of magic powder, to try to dazzle you !!! Thank you TheDom for you congratulations. Thanks a lot, Ralph, for your kind comment about my exercises, and your opinion about the French users of PTE. But all this is the result of the fine work of Igor, and his PTE ! It’s he who is to be thanked. Thank Igor !
  14. Many many thanks Peter for your kind comment, for a work which is so far from what you do. But I think each way to do a sequence could be enjoyable, and I yet said to you how lovely were those sequences you’ve showed to us at Ponthierry. Thanks again for your coming, delighted to meet you there. Thanks a lot, Canteau, you’re very kind with me. But you’re still a challenge for me, specially with you 3D sequences. Note I’ve kept with me a lot of my master sorcerer ‘s powder to fly quicker… I’m pleased, Admiral, you’ve find it amazing. Thank you. LumenLux. Yes, PTE has a great power, and it’s very enjoyable to look at the result (and to work with). But imagine if it was possible to obtain trapeziums and not only lozenges ??? A lot, a lot of thanks, Jean-Pierre, for your kind words. Yes, I was sure before the Ponthierry meeting you’ll appreciate the work, and enjoy the show. But you were the first one (with the cubes) and still are the top with what you share ! Thank Guru, but I’ve still a lot of things to learn about PTE.
  15. I’m using PTE since the end of January, and I’ve had quite a lot of fun to play with the possibility to make objects to come to live, thanks to PTE. Actually, as soon as I’ve seen JPD (Jean-Pierre Dolangère) playing with cubes, I wanted to be able to do the same ! (perhaps a second childhood !) The biggest fault of JPD is his great kindness to let everybody able to find what he wants on his forum ! So I’ve been rapidly able to do “exercises” , now put together onto “Un Apprenti Sorcier” . First, you’ll find an introduction : here is the English translation. Since Ancient Greece and Rome, we know how to draw a regular pentagon and a stared one, with just a ruler and a compass The regular dodecahedron, built with 12 regular pentagons, is one of the five solids of Platon., with the tetrahedron, the symbol of Fire the cube, the symbol of the Earth the octahedron, the symbol of the Air and the icosahedron, the symbol of Water The dodecahedron is the symbol of the Universe The Golden Section is there omnipresent Today, thanks to numerous software - whose PTE**, of course - the computer allows prodigious calculations of speed, of complexity and precision, as well as often brilliant presentation of the results **PTE harms our sleep. Consume in moderation (Here we plagiarize the warning found on the alcohols bottle , and make a little joke in French with the word “nuit”, here a form of the verb “nuire” : to harm and the noun “nuit” : the night.) On the ballet music of Coppelia by Léo Delibes Exercices of a Sorcerer's Apprentice according to Jean-Cyprien Coppelius was a manufacturer of mechanical dolls, and on his old days, he dreamed of stealing a soul to give life to the most beautiful of his dolls, Coppélia What would he not have done with PTE ? In fact, a sorcerer needs good magic words to perform his trick, and first, he needs to find these magic words. Here, the magic words are not “hocus pocus”, but the figure of the pentagon. The last picture with the teacher report about my work is not intended to be read except the last words : Just average as it is Piece of work to be redone I hope you’ll enjoy these exercises, as much as I’ve enjoyed making them. http://diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33290 VERY IMPORTANT NOTE : Don’t worry, up to the last microsecond, YOUR computer has NOTHING to fear ! (and the same, after the end !!!) Jean-Cyprien
  16. Hi, Jean-Pierre, My first post on this forum will be to congratulate and thank you very much for all you do for a better understanding and use of PT E, and the great care you take to share with us your important knowledge. What you're showing us is always amazing and admirable. I can't imagine how much time you take for all this. If you're able to paint with your brushes, it's as easy to erase a "mistake" too ! I think that'll give us some ideas… But you're not at all a bad painter ! Eraser or sponges are not necessary. We can see that. Wonderful presentation. About Cézanne, the painter. And for the virtuosity of the demonstration. Very nice diaporama. Congratulations. Bravo. (We expect more details, of course ! We're always asking for more !!) Jean-Cyprien
