Hi Scotty Yes I went to Deep Cove and then up to Seymour on Sunday. I don't think there is a slideshow program out there that I havent tried. I own 6 of them and out of all of them PTE is the only one that is being updated on a consistent basis. In my humble opinion it is the best all around slideshow program out there bar none. Sure there are some with better effects and some with more features but when it comes right down to it for a professional show all one needs is an exellent alpha fade which PTE has. I think Igor is using the right approach by allowing user to run exe's and Flash file for the fancy effects. This will keep the size of the program down. As far as the Video ouput I have played with that on Various programs and until I can afford an HDTV with 1080 lines of resolution I won't spend too much time with DVD's. The color saturation is fine but with 280 lines of res on a TV the quality compared to a computer is just not there. Even on SVHS at 400 lines it still falls short. It does have a purpose for large family gatherings etc. Ralvis

Thanks for the comments Bill. I actually had video shot with the g2 incorporated in the show but had to take it out unitl I can get it working perfectly. There was a problem with the codec unless you had windows media 9. I am redoing in Flash and will post it when finished. I prefer not to saturate my images but to leave them as shot. I usually just do the USM in Ps7 Ralvis

Thanks for the comments Bill. I usually prefer not to adust the saturation on my images unless for effect which is what I did with the first image. To make the fade effect from black to color take your image and change it to greyscale in your image program. Place it before the color image and use the horizonal or vertical fade and set it to around 9000. Ralvis

While visiting my son in Elmira New York State we were about 20 minutes from Watkins Glen Racetrack. It is 1 of 2 Nascar Road tracks on the main circuit. We paid $25.00 to drive 3 laps on the track. Tried to get the show on Beechbrook but it has'nt shown up. I visited my son in New York in Sep Oct. Here are a few pictures of our 1 day in Manhattan. I wish I had been able to stay longer. I was recently in the Future Shop in Canada aka Best Buy in the States. I was looking at a Sony TV with the memory card feature. The salesman put a sony memory stick in and displayed the pics. I was very impressed with the quality. There were as good as my computer monitor. The resolution is 1080. Anybody with a Sony Digicam should take a look if they are in the T.V. market I think it will resize anything down from above 1080 ppi but it won't upsize a lesser image. They are a little pricy up here about 2600.00 but the images are beautiful. It's too bad they didnt have a univeral compact flash smarmedia etc slot Ralvis
