  1. Hello All 1024x768 Res These were pictures taken in Manhattan on Oct 16 2003. I am still in awe of this wonderful place. Please feel free to comment on the show. It has a Flash into embedded in MMB of 828k Then MMB run the PTE exe which is 9 megs. The show is on BEECHBROOK Thanks Bill. Here is a link to it MANHATTAN NEW YORK
  2. Thanks Mike for your comments. As you can tell I am not in the same league as you 2 guys are for photography. I will pay more attention to the horizon from now on. I think on the 16x9 format the horizontal is even more evident than when running full screen. I will change the horizons on the Sechelt show and hopefully you can check out my future shows and leave me some feedback. Thanks again Ralvis AKA MicroSmith
  3. I will correct the perspective angles for you and post it on Beechbrook and have a look at some of yours. Thanks again for the help Ralvis
  4. Thankyou for the critique. We need more people to comment on the shows. I am sure everone who does shows would like some feedback. I would agree the speed is too fast but IMHO the show speed and music speed are not that important to the show. As far as the saturation and contrast I think that oversaturation and oversharpening is the norm now and it is not the true image that we are seeing. One can go to www.photosig.com and see what I mean. I am guilty on this count but I only do heavy processing on raw images not jpegs. Anyway enough rambling. Thanks again for taking the time to voice your opinion. PS. When I got home from work I looked at the images for the show and I had used my preprocessed images from the wrong directory. Hello McFly. I have changed the music to more modern music which also slows the show down. Give it another try. Ralvis AKA MicroSmith
  5. Here is how I do it. Create your flash show. I use Multimedia Builder and embedd the flash file in the MMB exe file. You don't have to embedd the flash file but if you embedd it nobody can use it. If you don't have Multimedia Builder you can use Boxigs program which is built with MultiMedia Builder. You will need the length of the flash show in seconds. You then set a timer in MMB to the length of the show. Here is a link to Boxigs programs FlashMe Look for the program FlashMe.zip and download it and read the manual Ralvis
  6. Hello : These pictures were taken with my old Nikon CP950 2 years ago. Res for the show is 1024x768 Sound is 96x44 MP3 Size is 6 megs zipped 38 Slides. Hope you enjoy the show. Thanks Ralvis AKA MicroSmith Bill has kindly put my show on his site. It is called Sunshine Coast BEECHBROOK
  7. Dan thanks for spotting that banding. When I took another look at the show I saw where I had too much compression which was causing the banding . I have redone the show with a higher quality pic. Thanks again Ralvis
  8. Thanks for the comment. If you have wavy banding you probably have your color set to 16 bit instead of 32 bit. Ralvis
  9. Resolution 1024x768 There are 44 images with a FlashIntro Size is 9.8megs duration 5.10 minutes. Any suggestions welcome. This is a self extracting Zip file that will run in your windows temp folder. Hope you enjoy the show. Personally I think this show is too long. Let me know how you feel on the length. 13. JRR This was an exceptional show. You have done a great job. I can appreciate all the work that you have put into it. Thanks again for sharing with us. Ralvis
  14. Hi All: Thanks for your kind comments. I have changed the show now to include PTE with MMB and Flash. It now will use your windows temp and delete the show after you exit. Thanks Granot for that suggestion. Take another look at the intro with MMB and Flash. All pictures taken with my G2 Canon. SFX is WinRar. Ralvis Here it is Whidbey Island
  15. This show starts with a MMB bump effect and then a flash zoom with animated gif. It has 27 Hires 1024 images and 96-44 sound. Let me know if it doesnt play on your machine please. The zip file contains a sfx that will run automatically in your windows temp directory and then delete itself. All pics were taken with my G2 Cannon and massaged in PS7. Your screen should be set to 1024x768 Had to take the show off my server. Ralvis
  16. Sorry Deep Fried Turkey is removed from my server.
  17. Hello I have a DVD player connected to my TV with SVHS (400 lines of res). I have made an SVCD 480x480 and a Mini DVD 720x504. I can't see any difference in the quality of the shows. Note: Not all DVD players support the mini DVD format and there are only a few programs that can make one. I used NeroVision Express. I was considering buying a DVD Burner but unless there is a difference in the quality I will be disappointed. Has anyone out there also tried this? I have tested with and without transitions and I prefer without. The alpha blends do not compare to the Computer. In fact I think they detract from the show on a Television. Thanks in advance. Ralvis
  18. Best Wishes to everyone on the forum. I live on the beautiful West Coast of Canada Vancouver Home of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler. Ralvis
  19. Great Job Isabel. A wonderful show. I had a little Maltese Poodle cross "Big Mac" for 16 years. He looked just like Ricky. Keep em coming. Ralvis
  20. I would like the ability to make my own custom navigation icons. It would also be nice to have the current image and the total images shown eg. 14 of 42 I would also like a hook into flash. Most computers are flash 6 complient and even if they aren't they should be. Thanks for a great program. Keep up the Exellence of Execution. Ralvis
  21. Sorry Show is gone off my server.
  22. Thanks LumenLux: My trip to Europe was in May 2002. I assume you are referencing my Dubrovnik Show here instead of the Zagreb Show. I have one other show from Croatia which I am working on now called Split. You probably have visited Split also. I would love to see a show with your old slides from Croatia. I am also doing shows for Italy -Venice-Lucca Pisa Sienna Rome Austria - Salzburg Thanks again for the kind words Ralvis
