As you said, the upgrade from W98 to XP is a very, very bad operation. Warning: don't upgrade W98, but install directly Win XP !!!

It's true : If you install PTE in c:\Program Files\ PTE and if your project is Boxig.pte, so you will create an album for save the project with all the elements. This album appears in a sub directory c:\Program Files\ PTE \Templates\boxig.pt. But, I repeat ...This is writed in the addons to do as said by the "Captain" !

Why one could not choice the directory for "Create template for this show" ? I think it's possible for the next versions , but it's perhaps also a little difficult. I think this problem is very important for many users and some ask to me. When we delete PTE, we delete also by default the templates directory. We are be able to choice the hard disk (C or D...or the directory) for save the work !

Please look at the time-line... Be sure, for the first picture, the during transition is not over the second picture and between 1 and 2, it must stay near 0,3s... !

My tests: PIV, 2.4 ghz, Video Nvidia 128 mb Geforce 4TI 4200 With apr.ini (fastfade): all is perfect. For "push" it's very good now, but one must remind to use <300ms or >3500ms, but I think it's very difficult (in this moment) to have a perfect smoothness with this effect, Igor ?

I don't understand why this option is not included in the 4.20b8 apr.ini ? Why we must add manually ?

Hello, in your picture, you have "informations": certains have a little, other more. The little "flickering" appears in a picture with many "informations" but with a thickness over 200 on my computer. In a picture with less informations, one can use a thickness to 500 with no problem. But, perhaps also, this come from your computer's configuration ?

Hello, I don't think it's possible. The encoding begin from the ".avi or .ptev temp file made by only PTE. But you could use the push effect (with display at 0) to make title and more....

As I said in the topic beta 7, I agree you for NeroVisionExpress: high quality ! The encoding time is long with two layers, but the result is very fine.

That is one important question: why, in the future, wnsoft would not develop his own MPEG2 high quality encoder ? It would be perhaps the best...

Three another tests with Nero Vision Express (encoding high quality with two layers): no problem !

I tested your betas A-B-C ("Cinque Terre") this morning with your parameters (all the effects). No problem with the three versions... I say that only for my PC ! But, if really it's a bug, I hope you find it, sure (sorry, my test perhaps cannot help you).

Don't think not that the problem can come from the various softwares in the PC ? Don't think not that the problem can come from too many codecs in the PC ? Don't think not that the problem can come from a bad configuration ? ................. I think many PC are as "dustbins" !!!!

Sorry for that , but I have no error with several tests (Ulead 2 - Win XP Home Edition -512 ram) ! All runs perfectly.

No problem with SVCD. The problem is in the PC because of the seek time <0.2-0.3s... But in a DVD or SVCD, the screen display of a picture can be= 0s....try it on a CD rw...

You are right Igor...I made several tests this morning and it's a very good "panorama" with SVCD, DVD... I tested also NeroVision Express for encode and burn a SVCD and a DVD: very good also !

With audacity ! Open your music, select 10 s to the end and fade out...
