Claude, french user, presents two slide shows. He wrote me today (translated): "I just discovered PTE one week ago and at the same time I believe I will rediscover my old passion for the slide show left more 20 years ago !!! At once installed, at once I’m going to make a show... This software is really very convivial and nice and I really enjoy with it. I did not use all the functions, but the first contact let predict assemblie’s good evenings. Then I share readily my first 2 presentations with PTE by inviting you to download them here... I will be attentive with all your remarks and suggestions which will be useful to me without any doubt for future presentations. Claude Bohnert" Venise: download 19 mb Cubaines: download 10 mb

Bill, the next time that I will go to England, I will go also well here. I noticed some very nice photographs. I would like to use of them some for of virtual postcards ! OK ?

Olga Boritsch, photographer It is undeniable that Olga is a very good photographer and I liked his images much. Oleg, sorry, I find damage that there are too many differents size of frames. But this assembly uses well all the possible effects of PTE !!! It's only my feeling...

It's necessary to know what one wants. Sometimes me slowness is reproached... Here the music rate/rhythm images. It's a exercise of my choice... It's possible that your feeling is not the same one. Me the head turns me when I drank wine too much. Perhaps I made this show in this case ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have considering this? At the beginning the BING BEN clock says 15h-4... at the end the clock says: 15h It's the duration of th show... A good idea is not this step ? Ah, ah, ah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Al, I have just carried out very precise tests with OGG CBR, OGG VBR, MP3 CBR.... Has my great surprise, I discovered that there was not this problem with the file MP3. I don't want to think some from final conclusion, but I wonder why. The format .OGG, integration in PTE ?
-
Thanks for your help Al ! I have just made a test with an encoding CBR... apparently it does have there little less problem. I think that the problem comes from encoding VBR... but I'm not sure. I would like also the opinion of Igor, Guido...
-
good for the idea because that can relate to this presentation like the time line of PTE in a general case with a music for example VBR .
-
PTE 4.11...PIV 2,4 GHZ.....512mo...no problem here.... The music is .OGG format with VBR quality .030. Perhaps VBR ? The 0,2s -0.3s is in the same direction everywhere ...between the preview and the .exe. But after the manual adjustement by stop watch, the .exe is OK. But the time line is with 0.2s...in this case.

The customize synchronisation for this show London Doors was very diificult. For the Thames river, it was to be wery well adjusted but I had a problem: in the preview mode (window time line and fullscreen), the timing is OK. But with the .exe file, I have a variation of 0.2 s approximately per picture: the fade effect (here :circle from center) is late on the music I have to correct with a stop watch. I checked this on several shows. Why in our opinion ?

Ken, for the music good idea hi,hi,hi !!!! Another thing: the customize synchronisation for this show was very diificult. It would be interesting in my opinion that the next version accepts the format JPEG 2000. What do you think about ?

London with another eye ! Please, download it (18,5 mb) if you want ! London doors page index for the show

Thanks for your comments. Nature is threatened everywhere by our fault. We must preserve water and great spaces so that our children can benefit from these paradises. It's a priority for us. Can this show contribute to it. It's a message to be meditated

A friend downloaded also the Lakes and the problem is the same with his computer. (Notebook PIV with XP). The answer is to Barry ........
-
Please, what is your PC ? and your MHZ ? P4 ? I find always the same problem in only this slide show with my computer. (All your others shows run perfectly). Especially at the beginning of the sound track... as if there were a bad sound track. (Pentium IV-2.4 GHZ, 512 RAM, GEforce 4200 TI Video 128 Ram, SoundCard Live 1024, Windows XP) (no specific software running in background).
-
I confirm.....I downloaded it again and it's the same problem. All the slide shows on my computer are OK: it's the first with that ! Barry said that the problem appears on his computer: Barry please ???
-
I confirm what I said: a sound 's short stop in several times: the sound appears intermitant as you said... Pentium IV-2.4 GHZ, 512 RAM, Video 128 Ram, SoundCard Live 1024, Windows XP

- Very beautiful lights for Las Vegas, Barry!!! - The sound of Lake District stops per moments or plays by jerks: can you remake it ? - In any case thank you for all these splendid images...
-
Request from a French user: "The problem that I indicated several times, persists, namely: always with an assembly of 868 pictures and a sound = 74 min. Still not of starting of the sound's band, hard starting of the images, always cahotic transitions... But with sound = 25 min it's OK.
-
Splendid photographs which I liked really much. You are surely an artist ! (The link to your page of downloading is on my French forum). Greetings from France!
