I have PTE V10 Studio and find the new features of audio clipping and fixing clips to slides very good . However I find the clips do not stay in the timeline they are put in but tend to bounce up and down vertically so that I have go searching for them. Is there a way of stopping this please? Also is it possible to delete the blue/black dots from the audio line when they are not required ? Thank you

I am having difficulty changing between two sequences. Wishing to stop working on sequence 1 ( waiting for info) i want to switch to an old sequence to rework it, say sequence 2. I go to FILE ,select sequence 2 from my sequences list and go to OPEN ( it is not in the recent project list ) The problem is that sequence 1 does not clear from the slide list and sequence 2 doe not appear. Please advise where I am going wrong, I assume I could have same situation when I am ready to go back to sequence 1.

Hello I have been linking slides to music in the right click drop down menu in V10 studio but have not found a way to delete the slide number if I later want to release it and link to a different slide. I will be grateful if someone could advise me Regards Canico

Thanks for everyone's suggestions but the basic problem is that both lines of text appear in the same text box and increase or decrease in size together. I cannot find a way to split them so that I can size them differently. The zoom function moves them both together. Regards Canico

I am trying to put text in two sizes on an image but have only succeeded in getting one size. Is it possible please in version 10 ?

Problem Solved - pilot error, looking at the screen pic you sent Lin I realised that 'burn DVD' was unticked which is surprising as I successfully made a DVD a week before. I am interested in your advice that the DVD burner can wear out, when this happens does this require replacement hardware or software ? Canico

I have just encounted a publishing problem that has left me frustrated and I would welcome some advice please. I am using windows 10 and PTE V9 and have used 'publish' to make DVDs of my sequences for years without difficulty but this has just stopped working. What is happening is that the publish sequence procceds as usual but when the DVD goes into a DVD player it says nothing has been recorded. I have tried sony and panasonic players with the same result,also I have used different blank DVDs. I have also tried to publish onto a USB stick but this is also blank. I have seen a message on screen as follows - access violation at address 0075AB9C in module pictures to exe read of address 00000000 but I have no idea what this means ! Regards

I decided to revisit an old sequence made on PTE 8 and made a small change and then tried to go into the Publish sequence to burn a DVD. This did not work this time and at the top of the screen it says WN Soft Video Builder ( not responding) Can some one please advise what the problem is ?

I use DVDs all the time and would be lost without this facility . I find the best way to view photos and sequences is on a large screen TV via a dvd player. This way friends and family can view together.

Is it possible to 'lock' vocal and music sections when you get them in the right positions on the time lines. I find that when I am maneuvering a section of audio on either at one end of the sequence or the other another section has sometimes moved out of the desired position on either the music or vocal track. I have just started using the latest version and in the new features listed is the ability to adjust picture brightness,contrast etc. but I cannot find anywhere that explains where to get into this. I can see this being advantageous by avoiding the need to go into Photoshop.Also there are references to upgrades to keyframes, I have never used keyframes , what are typical applications please ? Hello Barry The write - up says it is easy to edit and mix and edit from different tracks and also do time stretching. I usually have a problem with the length of a music track, either too long or too short. Canico

Has anyone experience of using Serif Extra's Acoustica Standard Edition 6 music editing software ? It looks as though it would be useful but I would be pleased to hear any comments before investing. Thank you Canico
