  1. Thanks to both of you. Wiyh the inheritancee method rhere is much less work!! I succeded working separately on each item, but the second method looks definitely better Thanks Lin and DG Saluti Claudio
  2. Thanks to Lin Evans and Dave Gee i can reasonably manage 3D forms, like cubes, tetrahedron or icosaedrom. The PRZ feature work properly with PTE I have now a problem with the opacity. Should I work on the opacity of the single images of the 3D form, or could I work directly on the form itself, like for PRZ? Thanks Saluti Claudio
  3. Thanks Dave I understand my error because I am not yet familiar with the new feature slide style. It seems a very powerful feature and I will work on it Thanks again for your patience! Saluti Claudio
  4. Sorry to bother you again Dave. I can easily donwload TETRA.ptestyle, but when I click on it I can only open it (which seems not possible) or perform other normal functions; I do not see any possibility to "save as" according to your suggestion May be I did not understand what you mean. Thanks for your help Saluti Claudio
  5. Thanks Dave. I succeded already with your previous info. The new TETRA.zip is beautiful, but I do n ot understand why I can not download TETRA.ptestyle. I am working on that , but at the moment without success Saluti Claudio
  6. Dave, this is what I mean, but I do not know how to make it. Do you have a template? Thanks Claudio
  7. Thanks for the explanation Lin. I have another question. I tried to make a tetrahedron, but I failed! One of the problem is also relevant to how to set up precise geometric figures like equilateral triamgle, or for othe applications precise hexagon. Is Photoshop best suited for that? Thanks for your help Claudio
  8. Congratulations Lin, I particularly appreciated the idea of the Rubik cube reflected in the mirror. I did not understand how the first part was made, but it i is certainly very effective Thanks again Claudio
  9. Thanks Lin, this works definetly better Saluti Claudio
  10. Lin, I have another question to you regarding your tutorial. I tried to put a cube within a so called transparent cube. The animations with the 3 axis work fine for each of them. The problem I have is relevant to the order of the two cubes, intending which one should appear in front at each moment I can adjust the situation manually (quite time consuming) for a given rotation, but probably there is a way such that the internal cube may always appear in the proper order Thanks for any suggestion Claudio
  11. Ok thanks Lin, Now it is all clear. I just did not think of a personalized window, so I did not explore such possibilities Thanks again Saluti Claudio
  12. Thanks Lin. I checked all the options of the bottom left toolbar, but I still do not see the two buttons "public show" and "preview". In my case they still appear on the upper right corner. I realized that this is a very minor point, but I am only try to understand the issue Claudio
  13. Hallo, a simple question. I have PTE 8 deluxe and, when I open it, I see that the main window is slightly different from the one I see in the tutorials. In particular the bottom left toolbar contains less info than the one shown in the tutorial: namely on: http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/main-window/main_window Is there already a new version of PTE? E.g. 8.xx? May anyone clarify this point? Thanks for any help Claudio Carrelli
  14. Lin, I forgot to add the mediafire link for my cube http://www.mediafire.com/?lfc8vfoj8ca6fnj Saluti Claudio
  15. Lin, congratulations for your demonstration of the power of PTE. I liked ery much your tutorials and I succeded in developing the cube as well as the snow globe. I tried to go alittle bit further going to a six faces prism. I had no problem with the six faces at 60 degrees rather than 90, but I do not know how to generate a perfect exagon. In practice the prism is formed, but it is not precise as it should. I do not think that the 60 degrees in PTE are not precise. I fear that the exagon I use is not perfect. Do you have any suggestion?
  16. Thanks Gary, I will try also this method in addition to the one using PSE Saluti Claudio
  17. Thanks Eric: wonderful suggestion. I found the command also in my PSE 7. I am now investigating in the the best compromise between size reduction and resolution. I am very happy because the gain obtined is almost one order of magnitude Saluti Claudio
  18. Hi Yachtsman, thanks for your suggestion to reduce the image size with PSE.I tried resolution 5 and 8 with good satisfaction. Is there a method for reducing a block of images, or should they be reduced one by one? Thanks Claudio

  20. Congratulations for the videoclip. I appreciate the cooking with such comprehensive explanations. I ran a similar experience with analogue videos of the early nineties. But I was lucky because this summer I participate to a photo challenge in Sardinia and I had the luck to win the first prize beeing the only one with old images of a village, celebrating its 30 years anniversary. Regarding my boats I sold my last 42 feet Jeanneau two years ago (due to problems with my eyes) but I bought a used 24 feet racing boat (Este 24) which I keep in Sardinia. I used it relativly seldom and in the winter season I have local friends who participate with success to the winter regattas. I collected some pictures and videoclips from them and I just prepared a fotoshow with PTE. I am now working on it to reduce the 247 MB size. Saluti Claudio
  22. Thanks Yachtsman, Your first suggestion is to use quality 5 in Elements (I have version 7 and I will check this procedure and see what can be gained in terms of size reduction) I do not have zipping programs nor I know what the size reduction could be. As for sharing I heard of Dropbox from a friend and I will check it as well as Mediafire. By the way I am also a sailor and my last fotshow is relevant to my little 24 feet sailing boat (unfortunately it is still 247 MB, including MP4 videoclips) Thanks again Claudio
  23. HI, I have been using PTE for some months and I am fully satisfied. My peoblem is that my exe files are often too big (sometimes over 200 MB) I see that on the site "Beechbrook" there are excellent videoclips with size in the range of 30-50 MB. My question is how should I reduce the size of my videoclips and what is the best way to make them available on the net. Is there any problem sending exe files? Should I resize each slide, or may I use a more effective way? I have no experience with zipping Could anyone help? Thanks Claudio
