  1. Thank you Patrick...as you probably can tell...I am as crazy about Beegie as I am about Louie. Long winter with lots of cold and wet weather...I had lots of images to use! Isabel
  2. Thank you, Daniel. I shouldn't have waited so long to make another PTE show. I forgot how to use the program! Isabel
  3. Are you yelling at me????? Isabel
  4. Bill emailed me...apparently my upload didn't work. I have my own web space now so I sent him a link rather than use bandwidth on his server. Isabel
  5. Is Bill Hines on vacation? I uploaded a new show yesterday and it hasn't been posted yet. I've also stored it on my own page. It can be downloaded here: http://isabelcutler.com/BeegiePTEShow.zip Isabel
  6. By default have all the transitions UNCHECKED or include a button that will remove all of them with one click. Every time I make a new presentation I have to carefully uncheck them box by box. Not having to do that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for being so receptive to changes! Isabel
  7. Cancel that plea for help. It's been a while since I've used PTE and I had to reacquaint myself with the Time Line. I figured it out! Isabel
  8. I'm using the latest edition of PTE and I'm finding the slides, although set to be synchronized with the music get hung up and stall several images before the end of the music. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance for your help. Isabel
  9. I love my Canon 20D but the shutter sound and mirror slap is so loud that it would really spoil a wedding...so I decided to take my tried and true Sony DSC F717 to the wedding and used ISO 400 with available lighting to record the event. I was very happy with the results: http://isabelcutler.com/RichardAndJane.zip Isabel P.S. What I missed most from the 20D was the speed of capture. I missed many, many good shots with the 717 because of focus lag.
  10. Thanks for explaining how to do this! I will work on learning the technique today! Isabel
  11. Lin, the word "genius" doesn't seem magnificent enough for this man's creations. You have done a masterful job of displaying it. The music was perfect. I have done just a tiny bit of work with Fimo so I have an understanding of how the colors are arranged, and I am overwhelmed by his craftsmanship and artistry. Guess you did a REAL good job of showing it off! Isabel
  12. I really enjoyed the demonstration...now how do we achieve this effect? :-) Isabel
  13. I'm using "Starter" http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/webhosting/wh1.php Isabel
  14. I have had a small Yahoo account with 25mb of storage (ridiculous, right?) for years and have been paying through the nose for it because I registered a domain name with them...it was $8.95 a month. I recently received a renewal of domain name reminder (fee, of course) and while checking that out found out I could have two gigabytes of storage (and renew the domain name) for $11.95 a month. Web space, for sure, can be found cheaper, but I don't think there's an easier way to make a web page than with Yahoo's wizards. (I had started with a Geocities web page with a massive 2mb of storage!). I made a page here with 5 of my shows, all of which have been stored here a while back. In case anyone has not seen them, you might enjoy a visit: http://isabelcutler.com/MyPTESlideshows.html Now that I have all this storage space I'm going to have to get cracking and made some more programs. Isabel
  15. Cindy - if someone in my family were going to get married, I'd certainly hire you. Just viewed your show and your images are "a cut WAY above" what I've seen of wedding photography. Magnificent work! My only observation was the fact that the images were only of the bride and groom. I hope that prospective clients might be able to see a slideshow featuring the rest of the families and guests, as well. Isabel
  16. Daniel, you are a master of snow photography!...getting such precise exposures is an art. The countryside in which you took these images is just beautiful and Enya's music complemented the images quite nicely. Isabel
  17. I have to agree. Day after Day is an amazing production! The two Michels show us how photographic and editing skill, as well as great understanding of the potential of PTE can all be combined into a jaw-dropping visual and auditory experience. The sound trackwas expertly done with the transition between the two selections flawless. Isabel
  18. Want to enjoy some great jazz (I think it must be Brubeck) and watch some aerial hijinks? Don Dadou's new presentation! Some of those aerial shots will amaze you...especially one of the closeups with a smiling pilot! Isabel
  19. I knew that music sounded familiar, but couldn't remember where I had heard it. Good choice for both presentations! Your skills at capturing the detail in trees is enviable! I always find trees one of the hardest subjects to image successfully! Obviously you have mastered the art! Isabel
  20. In my response to you I mentioned having used noise reduction in some of the pictures (at least that was how I remembered it!) I was just at that gallery and I see I wrote that NO noise reduction was used. That was put down just as I created the gallery...so I guess I didn't use any! The 20D is an amazing camera. When images are properly exposed (not underexposed) you get very little visible noise up to 1600. 3200 is quite usable too...but you do have to use noise reduction most of the time. Depending upon picture content sometimes you don't even have to use it with 3200. Isabel
  21. Please don't apologize for your English. You have noted I don't use my French! I am jealous that you had the opportunity to capture this beautiful effort! The music was so well suited to the images. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Isabel
  22. Good decision! I will be looking forward to seeing your first presentation with 20D images! Isabel
  23. This blatant advertising should be removed. Isabel
  24. That was fun! The lemonade cart made me long for a New York "dirty water" Sabrett hotdog! I really loved the last picture slide! Isabel
