  1. Thanks, in this case No News is NOT Good News. Just wondering.
  2. I'll try to get this to the top again. I see by this post, http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11130 that I'm not the only one with the problem. I didn't look at it at first because I don't understand French. I got an email 3 days ago that it was being referred to the developer who, I assume, is Igor. Is he out of town or on vacation?
  3. I went through and checked for updates on all the drivers since I had seen that solution for so many other things. Still does the same thing. If you are familiar with the Task Manager, I checked there and every time I try to run VB it leaves "Burn.exe*32" running under Processes. I've tried to start VB twice and now there are 2 instances of the Burn.Exe*32 running. Don't know if that helps.
  4. Yes, I went back to 5.6 and it did the same thing. That's why I figure it's something with Win 7 or this computer. When I click n the name project screen it greys out and stops responding.
  5. I don't know if this has anything to do with 6.0 or 6.0.1, I left this thread http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11151 but no one has answered it, here or from support. I'm at a standstill until I can figure the problem out.
  6. I just tried the newest Beta and it didn't help.
  7. I just upgraded my computer and PTE. The Video maker registration code had expired and I bought a new one of those too. When I open the project in video maker (for TV) it goes fine until I get to the page where it asks for a project name and the other choices. As soon as I click on any field (or just on the page) it immediately locks up. Everything else seems to work fine, it's only when I go to the video maker section that it freezes. It's running Windows 7 on an i7860 intel with 8 gigs of ram and a ATI Radeon HD 4650 video card. Any ideas what the problem could be? I'll try support also. Thanks
  8. I'm sure you'll get answers to your other questions, but for tutorials try here: http://www.thedom.fr/share
  9. That's a rather harsh reply. I think all he was asking about was if there was any kind of a manual, not for a "magic button". He seemed to be very pleased with the DOMs response. I don't post much but I do read a lot, since December of 2002, and once I found out where to look, I did. As leonard seems to be doing.
  10. I have no ideas on your question, I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone, both in being old and being at the bottom of the learning "mountain". We'll get there...a lot of people here are helping, every time I grab a new tutorial from The Dom's site, I learn something new. It still ain't easy though
  11. I'm not sure if it helps, but I threw about 10 pictures together, did one pan and one zoom, did the burn CD thing (from PTE) and it ran fine on the computer and on the DVD player. I have a Tsst burner in a HP ZD8000 laptop and a Pioneer DVD player.
  12. Nice action, the cube ran fine but the "shadows" kept re-runnning the cube set. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with it
  13. I have the same computer as Alrobin ecept that I have the 2.8 GHz P4 and everything works smoothly.
  14. Hey Lin, I think I got it! After re-reading things I see that I had my Keypoints confused, both between the images and where they were supposed to be. Thanks for your help, I'm sure I'll be back for more
  15. Boy, what a load of homework . I'll be away from the computer for a while. I'll get right on it when I get back. Thanks Lin.
  16. Here's where I seem to have the problem. When I add the second image, I can't adjust the image with the handles until after I set a keypoint, when I set the keypoint and then adjust the image it always starts it's pan/zoom at the size it was when I added it.
  17. I think I've got this figured out when I want to pan/zoom one picture. When I try to include a second picture going across the screen I can't seem to get it to start at a smaller size. In other words, after setting the first (background) picture, I go to the "Add Picture" button and it has me navigate to the folder were picture #2 is. The problem I have is that the picture comes in full size and the only way I can use the handles to reduce it is by adding a keypoint. That seems to lock it in at that size and when I reduce the size to what I want and hit play to see how it looks both pictures come up at their original size and then #2 zooms back to the small size before panning across the page. How do I get #2 to start at the smaller size? I hope I explained that OK, I'm more than a little confused.
  18. It runs great on mine. ATI Mobility Radeon X600.
  19. I don't know what you're looking for since I don't know anything about fractals, or computers for that matter, but I ran it and it was noticably jerky. I have the ATI Mobility X600 w/256MB
  20. I have a HP laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon X600 and all of the pans and zooms work very smoothly. I can see where I'll be getting people sea sick with these. Very Nice. It looks like the wait is going to be worth it. Thanks,
  21. I've been using Firefox for over 6 months now and have never had any problems. It also has a couple features that I like better than IE, especially "Tabs". You have several sites open at the same time without having to start a new browser session. The only problem that I've encountered is that some times (mostly on Microsoft sites) you have to access the info you're looking for with IE. That's a rare occurance. Try it, you'll like it.
  22. Perhaps it would have been more "diverse" if you had.
  23. I don't know if it's any help, but on several photo sites they will have sample release forms and other legal forms. Try doing a google on EULA (you may have to spell it out) and see if there are any sites out there that have a sample that you can alter a bit to fit your project.
