potwnc Posted Sunday at 03:36 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:36 AM A lot of creative software has been getting AI features for a few years now. Is there a role for AI in PTE? I don't know what AI could be used for, but maybe to suggest a better transition between slides or to suggest a different slide for a style? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Quote
SoCu Posted Sunday at 08:57 AM Report Posted Sunday at 08:57 AM Well, I think it’s an option worth considering. Since photos are the most commonly used content, I’d say the most useful features are photo restoration prompts, as well as quality enhancement, and a whole host of other things. You can already use it on WhatsApp with Meta AI, or in a browser with Gemini, and many others, but having it more readily available within PTE would be really interesting. Although, as they say… you’ve opened a can of worms, there will be both positive and negative opinions, but to each their own. But the ones who need to look into this interesting possibility are Igor and his team. Edited Sorry about the translation, it doesn't really translate the way I wrote it. Quote
canaro99 Posted Monday at 09:09 PM Report Posted Monday at 09:09 PM I've been thinking about this for a while. Quick test with ChatGPT. Prompt: Changes: Music: “The Lusty Month of May,” Julie Andrews and Ensemble. Duration: 91 seconds. Music starts at the beginning and fades out over the final 5 seconds. Resolution: 1280 × 720, 24 fps. All 15 photographs retained. Camera movement eliminated to address the jerkiness. Smooth one-second dissolves between images. This version emphasizes the photographs, music, and transitions without distracting camera movements. Pretty basic. Verdict? I prefer turning the wrenches (spanners) myself. It's more fun. tom95521 Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago I uploaded a poem to chatGPT and asked it to create a slideshow. Each line in the poem stanza added one second to the slide duration. It was interesting. I still prefer manual creation over the AI version. Tom Quote
