  1. Thank you all for the comments . I understand that (some of my) slides need resizing to avoid moiré-effects in PTE .
  2. Igor , here is the requested wetransfer-link. https://we.tl/t-PDkKGWkZPb Regards - Paul
  3. Igor , Jean-Cyprien thanks for your replies . My problem appears with static images . I tried "Sharper/smoother" - it does not really help . The slide gets softer and dramatically less sharp , but the moire doesn't disappear . What is really astonishing for me is that---- all the other software products (Windows FOTO , Capture one etc. ) don't show that effect , which for me is only visible in PTE . As soon as I resize the slide / reduce the number of pixels from full frame to eg.1920x1080 px the moire disappears in PTE . Any explanation ? Paul
  4. I need your advice. Since I own a new camera (Full frame 3:2) I have problems wth some slides . After RAW-processing and JPEG-export with full size (eg. 5588 x 3718 px) , I experience Moiree-effects in PTE-only . All other Software-products (as Windows FOTO) don't show this effect . The problem will go away in PTE after resizing the slides to eg. 1920 x 1080 px before using them in PTE . Is there an explanation and how can I avoid the problem - I prefer not to resize the slides before usage in PTE . Thanks for your help - Paul
  5. Hi Rosy , thanks again for all your help . The brochure , you sent , came with the speaker and didn't help much to answer the question how to connect the PTE-Exe to the WLAN-Speaker . Current status : a PTE-Exe can be connected to the speaker via Bluetooth ( I had to upgrade my PC with Bluetooth) . It works well . In WLAN-Mode , I can 'stream' MP3-files to the speaker . No chance so far to get the PTE-Exe to output sound to the WLAN-speaker. Regards - Paul
  6. Thanks macian , jkb The manufacturer doesn't offer a solution . The Preview in PTE doesn't activate the speaker either . Paul
  7. jt49 - thanks . The standard device ist taken for Audio-output . Apparently there is no chance to define the WLAN-speaker as standard device - perhaps there is a hardware solution , I don't know of . Regards - Paul
  8. Hi Rosy , thanks - the speaker is a QUADRAL Breeze 2 and has got in-built BLUETOOTH and WLAN capabilities . There a no USB transmitters at all . The speaker works with an PTE-Exe in Bluetooth-mode . When connected to the WLAN , I can play MP3-files . A PTE-EXE can't deliver to the WLAN speaker and , as far as I know , there are no WIN10 / PTE controls to initiate that the sound of the Exe is directed to the WLAN speaker . Perhaps somebody has an idea . Thanks- Paul
  9. For presentations I want to run PTE-Exes on a WIN10-PC . The sound should appear on a WLAN-connected speaker . Up to now I couldn't manage to get that working - are there any suggestions/solutions for me ? Thanks for your help - Paul
  10. Thanks . The test version successfully solves my problem . Regards - Paul
  11. I had the problem several times whenever I tried to use the MENU Style 1-style in Version 10 . This style (created by DaveGee) was running without problems in PTE Version 9. Perhaps this observation can help to solve the issue .
  12. Hi Dom , thanks for your help - it works as suggested . Paul
  13. Hi Dom , I downloaded the style - impressive , thank you . But I can't use the style properly - how to use the style for less than 10 slides ? What is required to get a 'proper' last slide in the range without the apperance of ''image 1" afterwards . Thanks for your help - Paul
  14. After very positive experiences with PTE Version 9 I have done the upgrade to Version 10 without prior extensive testing on my side - but with trust in the product and the team . PTE is an excellent example of close cooperation between the development team and the customers . It's a pity that PTE has not such a strong popularity in Germany as in other countries . Thanks for all the efforts which went into PTE Version 10 .
  15. Hallo jt , thank you for your proposal . Your method is better than mine ( calling of VLC media player by a slide is not always predictable over time) . Consequently I am glad to use your method in one of my shows . Greetings from Cologne - Paul
  16. Jean-Cyprien , thanks for your proposal . In the meantime I found a different workaround , which suits better for me and will allow to have a continuous sound in addition to the sound for predefined slides . Method : the slides in question start the VLC media player (hidden) and produce the sound in addition to the continuous sound . Paul
  17. Thanks Dave , but ... your method doesn't work , I believe , for a manually controlled slideshow. Paul
  18. I need advice - for my manually controlled shows (mouse buttons) I need a function to start a defined Audio Comment when the slide appears . I can't get that to work - neither in the PREVIEW nor in the EXE . Is there a way to accomplish that ? Thanks - Paul
  19. Dave , thanks - the style is working now . Perhaps , when I put more time into it , I will be able to understand how you did it . Paul
  20. Dave , many thanks for your helpful styles . This time I have some problems to apply the style - the order of cards looks a bit strange to me . Perhaps , my understanding of applying the style is wrong . Regards - Paul
  21. Dave , thanks - it seems that my planned action is not feasible, Paul
  22. Dave , thanks , but ...there is no permission for me to read your reply Paul
  23. I need help for PTE V8 / V9 How can I apply one slide style to a selection of several slides of the slide list (selected by STRG + left mouse click) without changing the original location of the slides in the slide list ? This question certainly has been answered before - but I couldn't find the answer. Thanks for your help.
  24. Igor , I suppose you are saying that PTE Version 9.0 will not support ICC-Profiles . Correct ? Thanks - Paul
  25. Kirov has run dry . There is no information at all about features and release dates for version 9 .Perhaps it is time to look for alternatives . Regards - Paul
