This week I created I show with about 380 slides (pictures and videos). I used the picture-files in original-size (4608x3072, JPG, 90%). The size off all the stuff was about 3,6 GB. Creating the exe needs a very long time. Playing the show, I saw, there was no navigation bar. And in the last part (last 50-100 slides) of the show all pictures were missing (blue placeholder). Is there a size limit for exe-Files? Seeing K4 is coming, I want to use original-size-files. I will not make the shows new in some years. Best regrads Andreas

I worked on a new show. After a windows crash with blue-screen and restarting windows, I am unable to reload the project. PTE crashes every time, I tried to open the project. I opened the project with an editor. There i only one line with Nul Nul Nul Nul ... and so on. In the preferences I made the entry "autosave every 1 minute". Where can I find an auto-backup of my show, if there is one. Best regards Andreas

I have a question to the function "text comment" in the defaults of the "Project options". If I insert template "<%MainImg.Exif.Time%>", then the time of the last change (last time I saved the file). But I need the Original time of taking the pictures. Can someone tell me the correct code? "%MainImg.Exif.TimeOriginal%" or "%MainImg.Exif.OriginalTime%" produces no correct result. It would be helpful, if it would be possible to choose in the project options between fit or cover slide. I hate it to make Alt+S on each picture in the object modus. Or is there any other possibility? Best regards Andreas

I didn't want to start a discussion, which make pressure to Igor. I thought, I had overlooked something. Yes, it would be very helpful, if there would be a shortcut in the "normal" window, or better a funktion "Cover Slide" or "Fit Slide" in the project options. But I can wait. Best regards Andreas

Is there in normal modus a shortcut like Alt-S in the objekt-modus to fill a number of pictures in the slide-line or the time-line to the frame? Sorry, if I have overlooked a topic. Best regards Andreas

I made a show with an extreme wide panorama. The panorama I used, has a size of 23558x1600 pixels (199,46x13,55 cm by 300 dpi). And the pc-exe show play very well with my low-end graphic card (Geforce GT 220). No jerks. Fantastic. I have another slide-show program. And this is a professional one. But it can not ply such wide panoramas. Exe-player crashes each time. Thanks Igor for your work. Best regards Andreas

Sorry, I know how to work with audacity and other editors. But it is not very comfortably for me, it I make chances in the slide duration or if I add a slide. I have to rework completely my sound. Or not? Best regards Adda

Sorry, I can't understand, who is "we". Isn't it better to say "I"? I personally would be very very happy with fade in and fade out and cut option. I totally disagree to compare this with working with images like in photoshop. For me its the same range as set the time of pictures and the transitions. Please tell me, how to let music end at a certain picture and start music at the next picture in a comfortable way? Sure, I can see at which timepoint the one picture ends and on which time point the other starts. And then I can match the two tracks in a music editor. But what happens, if I add a new slide before or if I make the time of a slide longer or shorter. I have to edit the tracks in the sound editor again. And so on. The same problem with the end of the show. Sorry, but I can absolutely not understand, why not add simple audio editing in the way of Igors purpose. With best regards Adda

Sorry, but a can not understand , why not sound editing facility? If you don't want to use it - you must not. The same thing with pan, mask etc. For me also, it would be a very, very useful possibility. Best regards Adda

Sorry, but I can not understand the problem. I am stupid? TheDoms templates are nothing else than "normal" PTE-Shows - with fantastic effects. They are absolute no software!! And if there are problems with the shows with a new version of PTE, in my eyes it is a topic for this forum, because it is a problem of the program and not with TheDom. BESIDES if TheDom does a mistake. But I cannot see this. And for me it is very important on which hardware configuration I can do which kind of effects. Is the bandwidth really a problem?? I think now its the time to hear, what is Igors opinion. Igor, please let us now, what you are thinking. Also about templates from TheDom and others within (!) PTE. Is there a chance to integrate such templates some further day in PTE (like plugins for PSP)? Best regards Adda
