I am running version 4.20 beta 5. A sequence played in the Customise Synchronisation window runs perfectly when I hit the play button but when I hit Preview it stutters and will not snyc properly. I have tried using the Create button but this still gives a faulty version. An Exe file on Cd also runs defectively. Has anybody any bright ideas as to what is going wrong? I am working on a lap top running Windows XP(home) with 20Gig Hard Drive and 256mb of Ram. The graphics is an ATI Mobility 16mb.

Is it possible to maintain the zoom on the sync window? Every time I replay a section of my sequence the window defaults to it original setting and I want to go in close all the time at the moment. Is it also possible to save from the Sync Window? It seems a bit of a fuss to have to close the Sync and the Options windows before one can save. What is the Update button for on the sync window? Nothing seems to happen when I hit it.

Only just begining to play with PTE. Need to synchro numerous slides to the music. How do I get the Play in the synchro screen to play from a timed point rather than the begining. The music is driving me mad. I am happy with how one moves the slides about relative to the music but every time I hit play or preview it starts from the begining.

Have any users of Cool Edit pro discovered how to save files in Mpeg format? The programme does not seem to offer this in the Pro version. Is there any other format that works well with PTE. I find that Wav files are too bit and cause problems.
